about 1800 Viva threads this past year?

Forums:

I'm not a math guy but I was curious.

I see 100 threads per page and page 18 is dated early last January, so....

100 times 18 carry the three add the negative reciprocal and divide by point one = 1800. That's my estimate.

Looks like an average of 8 posts per thread. Some hit 20 - 40 posts and a very few make it to the 60-80 range. Phil stuff hits three digits.

Billy Strings and the Gorge murders were popular threads this year.

Do posts from years prior to 2022 that are bumped "count"?

I wonder how many pages there are .... I never made it past 18 and I was skipping pages on the way there.

Do they even exist if we never read them? It's like Zone cosmology (actually that's probably more like Zone metaphysics).

FOM - I guess bumped posts are like wormholes to another time connecting the present to the past.

Does a memory exist if you don't revisit it?  Seems to me the potential to revisit is almost always there, just like the old pages of the zone.
