Shakey Zimmerman plays Bob Dylan & Neil Young at Ashkenaz Berkeley Feb 10

Forums:

My band is coming in for electric sets of Dylan, Neil Young and few more too on Friday Feb 10 at Ashkenaz. We have two sets of hits and deep cut sets all ready to go. 8pm All Ages show at Ashkenaz for their Not Entirely Dead Fridays series. We pack a punch on the songs and put in a great delivery of the lyrics to the songs and not on the aimless noodle versions that blow past the lyrics looking to kill minutes. Shakey Zimmerman plays the songs as they were written and incorporates the live styles with a satisfaction guarantee. If you're Bay Area, we hope you can join us.

Have a great gig, hope you sell the place out!!!

FWIW, i'm forming a new band, have some great players lined up...  first mini rehearsal on Thursday (working out several of my originals), hoping for a psychedelic world beat band.  The irony is that on Weds i'm heading to see bass legend Tony Levin with the Stick Men, in a rig full of bass players, and we still need a bass player for the new outfit, lol (they're all great people, but don't have the chops for what we're aiming for).

Again, have a great gig!

I think I will be at this gig I will be up for work and then seeing my son Feb. 10& 11 for his birthday on Feb. 11. Al ages means at 19 he can attend correct?

What time do you come on?

Egg man...Doors are at 8pm. First set starts at 8:30. If you make it, please come say hey! Both sets packed with famous and deep cuts too.

The element of surprise would be gone but I'm floating this Shakey Zimmerman setlist out here. Here's our two sets for this Feb 10 Berkeley show.
set 1 slow train coming, southern man, visions of johanna, crawling back to you, lookout joe, not dark yet, don't cry no tears, cold irons bound,  almost cut my hair, LA

set 2 things have changed, cortez the killer, union sundown, alabama, last dance, like a rolling stone, revolution blues, speakin' out, love and only love, words

the losing end
