ESPN has a 2 part show on 30 for 30

The luckiest guy in the world

Saw first one and fell asleep, That dude is a trip. Big time stutter when he was young in the NBA. His house is a museum.

Worth the watch

Amazing live versions of GD songs are woven throughout this series, likely selected and placed by Walton. This may be the biggest and coolest infiltration of the Dead into current mainstream culture. Some cool band cameos. The Dew (Lyceum '72) sequence is the best thing I've seen this year. Must watch tv for any hoops loving (or not) Deadhead.

Caught about 10 minutes of it, but want to go back and see it all sometime. Looks real interesting.

I'd like to go back and watch this too.  I used to like his commentary:

"Kobe with the west LA fadeaway!"

"Casell is working with a lefthanded monkey wrench tonight"

Forgot all about him being thrown in with the SLA story in the Patty Hurst kidnapping. Great show.

He was amazing those couple years in Portland when he was healthy. Jokic with a bit more speed and agility. Too bad he had the issues he had. Great attitude towards life

I loved that he got the organ player at the old Boston Garden into the Dead, and you would be sitting there at a Celtics game and start to realize that the old school Red Auerbach era organ music was Cumberland Blues into Bertha.

Its a 4 part series, caught #3 and 4
