Dennis

Forums:

This week I flew up to Traverse City Michigan to drive with my brother Dennis back to Florida. He has spent the last 3 months remodeling a house for a good Florida client of his. Ms. Florida. I have never been to Michigan and it is a very beautiful state and has a mind blowing legal marijuana scene, 1 oz of concentrates for $240. $1 pre rolls and HOLY SHIT the 40's. 40's are infused 2 gram pre rolled with kef and oils infused. 46% THC doobies. Again HOLY SHIT.

My brother only lives 2 hours from me and we do see each other here and there but we have only hung out for multiple days before a couple of times as we became adults, we are both loners and have relationship issues with most people. We had a blast traveling the 2400 miles home together, I had control of the music (he's a Billy Strings fan now). He is also a big Zappa fan so we did get 5 hours of FZ driving through Florida, We kidded and joked and even had a couple of serious conversations about our fucked up childhood. He did get a lot more beatings than me but still not as much as our oldest brother Bob. Growing up was straight up brutal. We shed a few tears but we are happy we lived through the hell and all 3 of us broke the abuse cycle with our families and we are very proud of this. We are getting older, we both have so many aches and pains in us that my wife called us the Hobbling Brothers, good name for a band, We also concluded this will probably be our last one on one adventures together, but we promised it won't be.

To my brother, my hero and my mentor who I always looked up to, This was one for the ages and wish it was longer and not so short. As the Stones sang many times...It's a drag getting old.

have been to all of the lower 48 now with Michigan and Ohio off of my list.

Michigan is the best weed state in the country

Great story, Tim

Yes, great story Tim. Glad it happened. And glad you're all survivors who turned things around.

My niece just moved to Michigan from Arizona. Found a newer 5 bdrm, 4 bath, 3,000 SF house on almost 7 acres with access to a lake (with fish) for $450 K.

Here in Salty Town near me, they're asking $450 K for a 1 bdrm, 1 bath, small house on a busy street. I'm wondering WTF?

Sweet story, Tim. When (and how and why) did Michigan get so cool about cannabis?

You are lucky to have a brother like Dennis

hopefully you two will make it to Alaska some time
