Grand Canyon Hiking

But I just started reading Kevin Fedarko's new book "A Walk In The Park," about attempts to hike the length of the Grand Canyon. I'm about a third of the way through and it's GREAT. Really digging it.

He's the guy that wrote "The Emerald Mile" about Kenton Grua's speed run through the Grand during the high water year of 1983 with the river running at around 93,000 cfs and the water in Lake Bowel trying to go over the top of Glen Canyon Dam.   

So if you need any summer reading recommends, there's one.
