I hope you are doing well. after my best friend had her gallbladder removed, she realized how crappy she had been feeling for quite a while, and how good she was feeling now. I hope you can say that you're doing well now.

Thanks for the well wishes. I had occasional stomach aches but just chalked it up to indigestion and never gave it much energy. Then two weeks ago I got a bad one that wouldn't quit and ramped up to the level of pain that makes one pale and sweaty. I decided to go to the ER at 11pm and turned out to be gallstones and I was at risk of rupturing so they scheduled surgery for 9am and got it done. Two weeks out and feeling fine. I just look like I got stabbed four times. I've been joking that I need a Thug Life ab tattoo to go with the scars. Laparoscopic cholecystectomy surgery was still better than the alternatives but more than a little procedure. Went for a four mile hike a few days ago and hope to be in the back country again in another week.
