I saw my 2nd showing of Long Strange Trip on Mother's Day followed by an interesting Q&A with the Director, Parrish, Steve Silberman and Mr. & Mrs. Robert Weir.
This was a rollicking - somewhat chaotic QnA with the presence of an audience troll who randomly shouted at the panel that the movie was devoid of "love."
When he tried to raise his hand to ask an actual question the panel ignored him.
Parrish and Weir were letting loose with some great zingers too.
The afterparty was pretty fine with SK Band joined up front by Weir on Birdsong and then a great vocal duet with Leslie Mendelson on Roy Orbison's Blue Bayou.
After Weir exited, Eric Krasno or Soulive sat in for most of the balance of the show.
Regrettably my cam battery died just before the bridge in Scarlet Begonias but I managed to put things back together for the great jam that followed to end the song.
Otherwise here's a few decent vids of the music:

Thanks for the links.
A recording of Weir/Kimock from the show here in Mobile has not surfaced, great Dark Star and adjacent jams. Kimock is the most interesting to me right now.

Thanks for taping and sharing
Thanks for taping and sharing. Much appreciated.
I think I read that this Kimock band recently rehearsed or recorded a new CD at TRI.
They are in Annapolis June 1 and do a small tour of NE.
