TTB played Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at The Merriam Theater in Philly. Thursday was good, with an opener, Marc Broussard, but it took them some time to get the machine oiled and grooving. Friday and Saturday they blew the roof off the place. Saturday was most exceptional in my opinion:
Only a few repeats across the 3 nights, and a new tune, Shame, was played all 3 nights. I thought it was good and didn't mind hearing it each night though.
Seeing this band is like going to music church, so............go! There were a few musical tributes to Greg Allman and a few music quotes snuck in along the way too. I can't say enough, you just hafta see for yourself.
