from my experience, David always sings Ballad of Casey Jones... so your statement that it was sung by Mookie grabbed my interest
I don't recall Mookie ever singing any harmony vocals on this song, either
I looked on setlist.com and Ballad was played twice on DNB's 2014 Harvest Tour (I was there!) -- on 11/6/14 at Don Q's in Felton, and on 11/13/14 at Ashkenaz in Berkeley... I listened to both versions, and it's David on vocals

so, Plf... it appears that your CD is mis-labeled... but it still begs the question about when & where did Mookie ever sing the lead vocal on Ballad?
the only possibility I can think of might be during the recent hiatus -- Sept. 2016 to fall 2017 -- when David was recovering and the rest of the band was doing shows billed as Leftover Nelson, w/ Vince Herman
anybody else have any insights about this?
