If you're visiting Denver, I highly recommend Adelita's for Mexican food.

For breakfast I think the consensus is either Snooze or Lucille's (multiple locations for both).

If you want to check out one of the largest Dead-centric collections of classic poster art in Colorado, check out Sancho's Broken Arrow and Be On Key's Psychedelic Ripple. Sancho's is an iconic Colfax dive bar, and BOK's is a live music venue featuring jammy bands most nights starting at around 8.

Have fun!

Denver Museum of Nature and Science (formerly Denver Museum of Natural History) is pretty good.

Thnx Guys!

Keep em coming!

St Mark I love good Mexican food, thanks

make sure you try the chilie verde

The Fort in Morrison is supposedly great fine dining (never been there though). Morrison Inn for pre-game margs.

The Fort is pretty good. It's a Colorado institution, and I believe they still have 'Rocky Mountain Oysters' on the menu.

I thought Denver's Botanical Garden was pretty sweet.  A nice afternoon through some cool spaces.   Highly recommended.

Botanical Gardens are a great stop in the city. Good rec, Zang.

Steuben's is also a good rec for comfort food/drinks. Their fried chicken is arguably now the best in the city since Tom's Home Cookin' closed.

Here's a little tour for you. Eat lunch at Tamales by La Casita. Cheap, excellent green chile, clean, family run, old Denver. It's in Highlands around 36th and Tejon. Then go down the hill and walk across the pedestrian bridges to Union Station. You'll get to see all the new Denver (it's nice). Then over to the museum of Contemporary Art. It's free on the 1st Saturday of the month. The Denver Art Museum is more mainstream and has outstanding architecture. I love all the buildings around Civic Center Park.

In Boulder most first timers hit the Pearl Street Mall area. Outdoor pedestrian boutique/restaurant mecca with many buskers. Pasta Jay's is on the West end. You won't leave hungry.

I highly recommend driving up Boulder Canyon to Nederland. Ride the Carousel of Happiness and then drive north to Brainard Lake. You might see a moose. If you don't want to drive as far go to Eldorado State Park just south of Boulder.

Happy Trails

Good recs from String.

If you go to Eldorado (or anywhere in the foothills, really) mind the rattlesnakes.

Best of the recommendations from my Denver trip.

Snooze

Denver Biscuit Company - breakfast and lunch, turns into a Pizza joint at night, but go for lunch or breakfast

If u like mid 20th century abstract expressionism, I enjoyed the Clyfford still museum in Denver.
