Brent tells us how he really feels

He was due some great times.

I wound up listening to the majority of this show, which I thought was particularly spanky, as 90's GD went. Brent passed about 6 weeks later.

He was on fire that last tour.

And, y'know, whatever.

On fire is an understatement but, yes, Brent "gave his all for all for rock n roll" as has been said and anyone whom saw him with The Grateful Dead is better off because of it!

I loved summer 90 tour. That was the last "great" (relatively speaking) one.  I saw most of it, from Pittsburg to the end.  Thems was the goodle days. Scary how fast 30 years come and gone.

Happy Birthday Brentski

^^^Another 10/21 show, from the Stephen tour, part of the 30 trips package, very well played^^^

Great! Thanks for the reminder on the 10/21's. I have 'em in my queue and cant imagine the '83 sucking at all. Seems like at least the later part of that year just SMOKED. I have always loved the Santa Fe shows for sure and they were some of my first really good tapes back in the day as well.

On the way home from the last Warren show, xm played Gentlemen Start Your Engines. Ain't heard it in a while. Darkest of his dark side.

FUCK

I do miss that man

Brent Mydland forever a member of the Grateful Dead.

We were better off for his contributions and are blessed by his legacy.

And yeah, 30 years gone already...

where does the time go?
