Close Encounters - Mars edition

Forums:

If you like Mars, and really, who doesn't, today will be it's closest dance with the earth, at 62 million km, for quite a while, as it won't get this close again until 2035, so get those backyard telescopes going, and have a look see!

Mars has been absolutely ahhh fuckin mazing the past month. It rose next to the full moon at the Warren Haynes show the other nite. Naked eye candy.

Mars has been stalking our Moon all week. Last Friday it looked like it was a moon of the Moon.

Impressive last night. Venus,  to the left, Saturn(I think) then  big Mars before the moon.

I've seen it - next to the moon 2 nights ago.....but where is the Pisces Apple Lady  ??

Mars is alright tonight.
