No Giza??? :(

Wonder if they'll add something between MSG and Hampton?  I wouldn't mind seeing them in either of those venues, but I doubt I will.

Spin Doctors opening??

Have always wanted to go to the Hampton spaceship -- who's been? Is it worth the trip?

Doubt that I'd go for this run, tho...

nailed these dates a couple of months ago in a D&C rumors thread here. hopefully everyone got their hotels booked at a big discount back then.

Booked the Pennsylvania for the garden and the roof for Hampton 6-7 weeks ago.

Embassy across the street at Hampton was sold out months ago because of a convention there on these same dates.

Crushed it on both for rates.

Way to go TOD YW!

This list of dates has been rumored for a while, and the ones today match up, so seems likely they'll announce more after these sell a bit

and now they’re back! 30th year anniversary!

Hampton was always worth the trip and it's the one place they could play that might actually get me to see these guys.  I'd have to get over the thought of desecrating a holy site but if I can clear that hurdle it's a possibility.

Dear Baby Jesus,

Please make it possible for Thom to make the holy pilgrimage so he might be able to “clear that hurdle”

Oh, one other thing Baby Jesus, if it’s not asking too much, please allow me to meet this real deadhead.

Yours in faith,

- TOD

Maybe there should be a VLZ meet and greet at the 30th anniversary of The Warlocks shows.

10/8 and 10/9/1989 was the Warlock dates

I liked Ratdog, Phil and all kinds of friends, JRAD, Furthur, tons of locals, but D&Co.

I saw em twice and the first night was very good but the second night was so fucking slow, uninspired and clunky it just plain old sucked.

There fuckin painful, I can tell within 1 song of a show it's them. I don't know what it is. but it sucks and I'm not spending $$$ just for 12 minutes of the Rhythm Devils.

That would be a month earlier on October 8th and 9th, which are on a Tuesday and a Wednesday this year.  The middle of the work week.

Viva Class of 2019 group photo in front of the mothership?

TOD, if you're going to pray to the baby Jesus you should make it for something a bit more substantial.

Look at the librarian, so sanctimonious.

* 2 Nassau added *

I still can't believe people actually pay to see this shitty band.

Drums>Slo-mo 'Potvin Sucks' chant...

more like a Fall Fun Trot Tour...

Who designed the poster, an 8 year-old with a box of crayons?

Poster is almost as bad as the band........

Ten days, rake in a ton of cash.  Dead$Co

A three hour tour.....

I love the Grateful Dead. I love the solo bands, and some of the collaborations. I love even some of the cover bands. The songbook is tried and true, and its not hard to have a good time listening to it.

I feel so happy that we had so many years of good music after Garcia's death.

But I really think this band sucks so bad. It's Bobby and the Drummers that make this band suck so bad. John Mayer holds back so much he's practically nodding off just from being bored. I think the pricing of this band sucks, the marketing, and the fact that although though break no new ground, and nearly make 1995 Grateful Dead sound fast and polished, myriads of people are convinced this is the best thing ever.

I think that's the worst part.

Have fun, regardless. But damn. What a shitty band. Thanks Bobby

If kids are taking acid like their parents, maybe they'll fix what their parents broke.

Where can i get a pair of those sneakers. The toe area looks incredibly uncomfortable but i'm willing to give them a try.

And the leaf looks to be some kind of encrypted Canadian message.

Imitate the scene you describe.

I still hold out hope that falling down Bobby will make a return. That was at least somewhat interesting.

Those appear to be skates attached to some type of elf-like shoe. I think.

They look super fast though.   Nice cushion

I’m not sure about the point count on the lightning bolts ...

^^^^Good eye, T.

Looks like a mere twelve points.

Perhaps some kind of coded message from the band?

I don't completely dislike the poster.

It might be a couple turtles and a bear shy of the norm, but I like the departure. A tad less formulaic than many GD-related posters these days.

I can't believe some tools still bitch about this band

It looks like a Stones poster.

It looks like a diet soft drink advertisement.

maybe someone can sharpie Jerry into this band...

I can't believe some tools still bitch about this band>>>

Totally fine for people to like the band, but I can't believe some tools think this band is actually good

It's Bobby and the Drummers that make this band suck so bad. <

Can't help but think that Oteil, Jeff and Mayer in some other band would make for a better band.

Bob is more hit-or-miss than ever, and I swear I can see Mickey & Billy picturing their bank statements several times per set.

Decaffeinated espresso.
