Duterte is one hombre loco.

My brother and I had tickets to travel to the Philippines in March 2020 to go diving on Palawan for a couple weeks, with a couple days in Manila first.  However, just a few days before we were scheduled to arrive, Duterte shut the country down because of the Covid.  Had our travel schedule been just a little different, we would could have been trapped in Manila with no way in or out which would have sucked ass (being trapped on Palawan might have been a little more tolerable).
