seems pretty obvious at this point...no announcement on who the "friends" will be means it will be some configuration of the standard TXR bar band players, with maybe one interesting musician thrown in to justify the "phil and friends" name up on the marquee. maybe a bunch of people from some midly popular no-jam roots rock or alt rock band. if i could just get one more phil show without any of those hacks id be happy. just one more. let me say goodbye.
Well I wouldn't need to leave Norcal to see this lineup but all these musicians have played together, are versatile and well schooled in GD music. I expect them to be locked-in from the start.
We'll be "letting the mountain be our home" at the Prospector campground on Dillon Lake and later @ Gore campground in Vail.
