Playing in the Band: Celebrating Bob Weir’s Birthday to Benefit the National Independent Talent Organization on Friday, October 16
Bob Weir, the legendary Grateful Dead rhythm guitarist and vocalist, celebrates his 73rd trip around the sun on Friday, October 16. Some of our fondest memories shared with Bobby have been at hallowed gatherings like Fare Thee Well, LOCKN’, Brooklyn Bowl, and The Capitol Theatre.
We look back at ourselves, at our favorite venues, and see our souls dancing in free-spirited, bright-eyed wild abandon. To honor this momentous celebration, our hope is to take this opportunity to share some of our favorite memories with Bob Weir over the years. Let us reflect and take a look back at some classic performances!
While you watch, consider making a donation to the National Independent Talent Organization (NITO). Help the independent artists, managers, talent agents, event staff, and the entire independent live music ecosystem get back to bringing you the show. Visit nitolive.orgto contact Congress and continue encouraging their support of #RESTART and #SaveOurStages Acts.

Is this Dyan's birthday too, or just that date of his big to-do back in '90? I have most of that on cassette. Somewhere.
