Haunted Spaces and Creepy Places

Forums:

Checked out the Amityville Horror House last Monday and then experienced a week of just weird bad luck (backed into a pole, Zoom connection went down during a deposition, had my bank account hacked, etc.) that makes we wonder if was a mistake going there:

Have you all checked out any weird haunted places lately?

We went there years ago (used to live on L.I.) , and only took a quick pic of the house from the street. My bro-in-law owned a bar down the street. "Big hoax", he said.

It was filmed in toms river nj.

Jizz, like cum shot.

Or horse cock.

Connecticut's full of scary haunted places. Most of New England is,,, it's settlements are ooooooold so therefore lots of history, good bad and ugly. Lots of people died, I believe not all of em wanted to leave this dimension, this earthly plane.  I love this stuff,, there's more to a place than meets the eye. Paranormal is everywhere, especially in these old ass parts.

Dudleytown - Union Cemetary - Devils Hopyard - Burlington's Lady Of The Green Mist just to name a few.

Plenty of cool stories to intrigue you, whatever your beliefs.

Amityville, as well as a shitload of other strange occurrences were investigated by Ed + Lorraine Warren, here's a nice little interview about them. They got some awesome Dudleytown stories, or had,, they're both gone now. I've been up to Dudleytown many many times, not sure if it's had any negative effect on me since I was born under a bad sign.

Is there something to these stories, or were they embellished just for a buck ?  Probably a little of both.

When I was a kid, I went to a presentation by Ed and Lorraine Warren where the played recordings of demonic voices.  Freaked me the fuck out.

Was in rural Maine last week and found the Pet Sematary house.  Made sure to park well off the roadway.

The Winchester House

I'd swear I saw the devil zipping around the orchestra section during set break at a Irvine Meadows Grateful Dead show in the 80's, but I'm an atheist so I believe it was a figment of my imagination aided by the pizzazz that a windowpane contributes.

Few years ago, made a trip to the ruins of Čachtice Castle in Slovakia.   It's the former home of Countess Elizabeth Báthory, who murdered hundreds of girls and young women and then bathed in their blood in a macabre attempt to keep her youthful looks.

Looking down on the little village where Countess Bathory found many of her victims:

Eventually, she ran out of local peasant girls and then started tapping into some her students from her etiquette school.  That was a mistake because the disappearance of the girls from wealthy families soon caught the attention of the authorities in Budapest, who arrested and tried the Countess for her unspeakable crimes and condemned her to be sealed up alive in the castle walls.

Hanna Cranna asked to be buried in Monroe CT. when she died. But upon her death the townspeople buried her down the road in Trumbull. Her ghost haunts the area around the graveyard in Monroe. When the Mrs and I drove by the haunted graveyard I said "That's the Hanna Cranna Graveyard " my wife said "Who's Hanna Cranna?" I told her to google it.

Hannah Cranna told a neighbor she would die soon. She said she wanted her coffin carried to her grave by hand, not by cart. And, she said, she must not be buried before sundown.

Hannah Cranna did die soon, and her neighbors ignored her instructions. They carried her over the snowy ground by sled until her coffin slid off. They tried again, and her coffin slid off again. Finally they gave up and carried her to her grave by hand. By then, the sun had set
