Humpin’ Dat Corpse

Our AAA baseball team did a Grateful Dead night this year.  Custied up for the hat.

I'm not sure if I'm going to avoid Keller Williams "Pettygrass" show at Hangtown this year but most likely will.

That's a nice looking stadium.  One of my favorite pitchers, Tom Seaver, was from Fresno.

Are you going to flat brim it?

Brim is bent and it’s a fucking great ball park.  Not a bad seat in the house and $5 pints.

Good move on the brim.

I love minor league baseball.  Great beer pricing and easier to get closer to the game without draining your wallet.  At Cheney Stadium in Tacoma, they sell $2 PBR's in the bleachers.  Saavy hipster target marketing.

"Gimme an F!"

Minor league baseball is fun.

I like the embroidered patch but the tie dye brim might be a bit of overdoing it.

San Jose Giants (Single A) have a beer batter; if he strikes out two beers for the price of one.  Also a mid inning contest where an old delivery truck is driven on field and attempts are made to bust headlights by throwing a baseball.

why did they have a grateful dead night?

does anyone in fresno know what that is?

July 19th 1974 Selland Arena, Fresno, CA

someone knows...

>>>does anyone in fresno know what that is<<<

From the look of that park in the photo it doesn't seem that people in Fresno know they have a baseball team.

Really is a nice ballpark. Used to be home of the Giants triple A team, but now it belongs to Houston.

And I really can't believe fresno did anything GD.

I moved to Canada in June of 1974 and consequently went another 13 yrs until my first show. Just saw they actually played fresno in 69.  Not sure why I did not see that one. I was 15.  I caught almost every concert that came to town.

Tom, tough to get folks to a game in 110 degree heat.

Pettygrass>>>

Did Keller Williams just give up on original music? Sad.

Folks were singing along with Freaker By The Speaker.  But when the same didn't happen with Port-A-Potty Girl, he got discouraged.

Our Salinas Angels used to play against the Fresno Giants.

Feedin' your head

But Jerry's still dead.

'N' everybody's humpin' dat corpse.

Pitch in with a verse or a bridge.  We'll call it Song For Early September..

That said, I've been on a real Garcia/Hunter kick song-learnin'-wise this summer.  Recently learned Mission In The Rain.
