Killing time in Long Beach

Forums:

Looks like I'll be killing a few hours in the middle of the day tomorrow prior to checking into a hotel near the Long Beach Airport. Will probably be with a group of 4-8 folks. Any suggestions on a place for a nice leisurely meal, a few beers, or just killing time? Probably won't want to travel too far because group/luggage.

 Hof's Hut on Bellflower

That looks good, knotseau. Even if not for lunch, Dec for breakfast the next morning. I do like me a patty melt though.

Is Beachwood Brewing any good? Probably too far, but just in case. Is Ballast Point near the airport by any chance?

beachwood is alright.  decent.

not sure where ballast is in relation to airport. you should ask markd, that's his old hood.

I very seldom went anywhere in LB.  I was usually up here somewhere. Or on the way.

I never even checked out the Aquarium. And I lived in LB for 28 yrs.

I had great Mexican, Chinese and pizza that delivered. There is also a great deli around the corner from where I lived.  I was only 10 minutes from the airport. But far away from downtown/ beaches. I have had good meals, but don't remember names( or anything these days) too well.

Wish I could be more helpful.

I was just logged out between the time I posted that, and trying to edit. Weird.

The Red Leprechaun is not that far from airport.  I live in Long Beach but not around tomorrow.  How long you here?
