Double post.

Sorry.

Don't apologize Hooper. Happy Saturday Night!

Had a nice night watching the stream last night in my buddy's back yard.  He pulled out some fun guys and we got down and watched the cool moon for a few hours.  Had his projector going on the back of his house, light show and fog machine haha.

((Appreciation))

Very nice mix on this stream. Clearest I've heard Billy's snare at any D&C show

This 'Althea' clears up the debate over "Vocal Quality"  within DeadCo vs. JRAD.

I mean,  have it if you like it.

They need some coffee or coke, this is like molasses flowing underwater

It isn't any slower than TTB. Soul is chill.

Nice little warm up set.

Hopefully the temp will cool down.

Strong possibilities for second set???

Scarlet, Eyes, Estimated, Terrapin, Morning Dew, Playin Reprise

There is the Branford promise,  so they've got that going for them.

They played Scarlet yesterday.

It's a full moon, so  I'm guessing a Standing On The Moon.

I Have RETIRED From GD and It's Related...................SO Many Other Bands OUT There.................

My Musical Mind Has Actually EXPANDED Since Retiring GD and Related !

triple encore... or third set?

Triple

That first set looks great on paper.

No Ween this year :(

Really strong show, but that Branford set may have been the best ever for these guys- he manages to elevate the professionalism.

"Billy checking his watch during a hot nfa......."

Wondering if the check has cleared yet.

Replay of Sunday night on XM Jam On

Billy checking his watch during a hot nfa......."

Wondering if the check has cleared yet.

..and Mickey always seems kinda bored these days, don't he?

It was a decent enough show, but Bobby killed the two most promising jams of the evening.  The first was the jam out of Birdsong, that seemed to be headed towards the William Tell Bridge.  Bobby stopped that jam cold to start up Eyes Of The World.   He did the same to the post-drums jam before Morning Dew, which started cold with no segue.

The Autzen Stadium show and the 2nd night in Colorado were both better shows than last night.

I haven’t had time to see or listen to this Branford “reunion” set, but with such high expectations and almost legendary history among deadheads, I think too much expectations were made...

https://www.jambase.com/article/grateful-dead-welcomes-branford-marsalis...

“Marsalis, who would go on to join the Dead a number of additional times, spoke with Rolling Stone in 2014 about the initial collaboration, telling the magazine:

I walked backstage and [bassist] Phil [Lesh] goes, “Hey, man, glad you could make it.” The rest of the guys were like, “We don’t know who you are, but it’s nice to meet you.” [Laughs] I came up for “Bird Song,” and after the set was over, I said, “Thanks for letting me play, guys.” And they’re like, ‘No, no, stay! Play the second half of the show. We’ll do ‘Dark Star.'”

That had no significance to me. I’m like, “‘Dark Star’? Okay. What is it?” “Oh, you’re gonna love it. It’s free, it’s out.” Great, I can play out.” [Laughs] They start playing that lick, and the audience goes fucking bananas. Later, I started getting these phone calls on my private number: “Man, you were great last night. Thanks for getting them to play ‘Dark Star’. They haven’t played it in six months.’ I’m like, “Who are these people?”
