Nice preview from her concert film Perfectly Imperfect At The Ryman, which is coming out on December 2nd.  It was filmed in May of 2018.  She steers her own song into Merle Haggard's I Think I'll Just Stay Here And Drink before winding into Willie Nelson's Whiskey River.  If you like Oulaw Country and Cosmic Country, give this band a listen.  Very talented players and real good people.  That's my friend and Seattle native Micah Hulscher on piano, who used to tinkle the ivories for local honky tonk heroes the Dusty 45's before following his career to Nashville.  He's Margo's band's musical director now.  Local boy done good!

I last saw this band at NOLA Jazzfest in 2017, and thought they were great.  It's nice to see them continue to grow, and share the big stages with the best in the business.

When people say that all modern country music sucks (much of it does), I point to the likes of Margo Price.   Got to see her and her band two years ago at Revolution Hall.   Great voice, good songs, and keeping the outlaw in country.

the modern outlaw movement is super solid. maybe more talented artists at this point than any other genre.

Agreed.

And thanks for the link Dave.
