A Mysterious Package...

Forums:

...was hiding under a paper-sorting tray on my office desk.  I had no idea how long it had been resting there.

Intriguing...

Are they negatives?

Okay, you have my attention.

Egypt Contact sheet...

Cool.

Wonder if they are of Mickey's trip post-Pyramids down the Nile?   Get them to a photo lab, stat.

A small package of value will come to you shortly.

It has that really old book smell...

I'm not going to look at it until I return home.

Or possibly a sheet so strong it can cause a contact high.

Was thinking about Geraldo on the way home

Had dinner and movie with family, then turned my attention to the black envelope.  I carefully pulled out the contents:

BAM Magazine - November 3, 1978.  The source of that wonderful smell.

Well, how do you like that!

...And some photos

So, that's it.  Nothing too big, but it was a fun little surprise on a Friday evening.  I imagine that these were once in the hands of the photographer who traveled with Mickey.

Some beautiful pics.

The good old days of contact sheets. I can still smell the developer, fixer and stop bath.

Nice package Johnny D.

Niiice

They definitely look like the work of a pro.  Nice little package of goodies.

Does look like a negatives were included in the package.   Shouldn't be too expensive to take them to a photo lab and get them converted to digital.   What a trip.

Connect with UCSC GD archive? Might be something for their collection

J.D., you have/had a very thoughtful coworker friend.  Most respectful.

Curious to see what the negatives reveal.  Is it plausible Hart posing with locals exist?

I'm seeing a contact sheet or two, but no negatives.

^Yes, Mike, that's true. No negatives.
