Nice video of a great show.  This was the longest drive I did for a single show.  BGSU to Landover and back again.  The Ship of Fools and MORNING DEW were the standouts for me, but the whole show is full of Jerry fully engaged and the band right there with him.

Thanks for this one, very underrated late 80's smoker, MSG 9/18 is the only other Dew on the tour, this version is almost as strong.

Show hits the gas during Tom Thumbs and does not let up.  Great choice.

Thanks.  It gets overshadowed by a lot of other great shows, and is worthy of recognition.

I second the emotion on the Cap Centre show. We got 12th row center for all three nights; it was weird because exactly

one month earlier I was at the three Red Rocks shows. Quite the different vibe.

The whole show is great, but the second half of set 1 and the Morning Dew really stand out.

Thanks for the reminder about this excellent night!

August 30, 1980 SMOKING start to finish. Gets overshadowed just by virtue of it being on that awesome 1980 summer tour . Possibly the hottest Jack Straw I ever saw . Great 1st set closer!

A beautiful High Time, a better NFA than Cornell (or Englishtown IMO) and the best Music and Sugaree of the year.

I was at this show too. It was THE show that made me see the magic going on.

Partied in the sun all day. What a day.

It sounded so good during the electric Friend of the Devil and so much different then the album. I then realized that this band utilized a jazz approach and could doll-up any song, any way, on any given night. No show should ever be missed if you want to see how they segued to and from each song / concert.

I enjoyed 8/30/80, but I thought the next night blew it away......

Alabama Getaway-> Promised Land, They Love Each Other, Mama Tried-> Mexicali Blues, Althea-> Little Red Rooster, Tennessee Jed, Far From Me, Lazy Lightning-> Supplication, Deal

Greatest Story Ever Told-> Uncle John's Band-> Lost Sailor-> Saint Of Circumstance-> Comes A Time-> Truckin'-> Drums-> The Other One-> Stella Blue-> I Need A Miracle-> Good Lovin'

Eleven song first set including the best Lazy Lightning-> Supplication I ever heard, high energy all night long. Majestically executed second set with an unusual combo to open, six song pre drums (I didn't even mind the Lost Sailor-> Saint Of Circumstance being there), absolutely beautiful Comes a Time and a short but seriously powerful Other One.  A great night, except for when the naked guy ripped Jerry's cords out during the encore.

Ive been enjoying all of the shows that have been submitted, and I would like to nominate this worthy show. Phil is just a beast throughout the entire night, just thumping thru Alabama/GSET... a great jam in  Dancin, everyone firing on all cylinders. Check out how soft and sweet Brents voice is in Easy to Love You... Jerry has a little lyrics flub in Scarlet but makes up for it on the jam.... the recording cuts to audience in a couple spots but overall a very worthy show:
