This is getting good.

We need more.

Much more.

Release the Horse!!!

The I-5 Horse Tour!

Modesto ?...

Yep, it's the crazy horse surprise short notice nice theaters of inland California shithole towns tour. Dates in Modesto, Los banos, Hanford, Redding, pamona and Visalia soon tba.

either way I scored a front row balcony for cinco de mayo.

gonna hightail down there after the psycho genius set at cinco de Mylar.

never seen young before.

love u Zooey!

Bakersfield on Cinco de Mayo sounds like a party!

See you there, E  heart

Merced gets a pass?

Bring it North on the 5, Neil.  The Gorge would be a nice place to see the Horse.

They did play The Gorge 1996-09-14.

Was supposed to see them in Europe in '97, but Neil cut his finger and had to cancel.

Did see in 1986 (rockin' but eclectic), 1991 (hard and crunchy), and 2012 (big and sludgy).

HWY 99 not I5 Wally.

Anybody know this theater?

Mark is correct, they b keepin it hwy 99 as a muthafucka so far

I’m in for Bakersfield, 12th row.

The Bakersfield Fox was a great theater experience when I saw the Black Crowes there in 06. I doubt anyone will be disappointed.

While it's possible to make this, a six hour drive is a bit more than I'm willing to travel to see anyone at this point in life.

Hope a tour is in the works and he brings the Horse back to Tahoe later this summer.

Tonight’s the night

Bakersfield in 100 degrees doesn’t sound so fun anymore, but I’ll see ya tonight!

I was just looking at some photos of the venue. It's smaller than the Fresno theater and looks like a great place to see a rock show.

I'm jealous.

I've decided not to drive up to SF tonight for Melvin's show at the Warfield (I just don't see how Stanley Jordan is going to make that a better show) so I'm hoping for another Neil stream.

Post 'em if you got 'em.

~ BUMP ~

For the  mixlr stream...

here's JRAD in New Orleans:

>>>here's JRAD in New Orleans<<<

That's all well & good, but what does it have to do with Neil Young & Crazy Horse?

^

About the same as not driving up for the Melvin show,  I suppose.

Except it's a mixlr - related topic.

This guy had it the other day:

http://mixlr.com/toph-mac-dhuibhshíthe/

But will he stream tonight ??

Actually it sounds like an awful-quality Kimock stream.

This guy was live Thursday, still quiet tonight:

Damn. they're playing in this place and we have no streams.

1st world problems.

REAL problems!!!

Got 3 JRAD streams, Phil, Panic, and JGB, but no Neil....

Sweet, we get pictures tonight!

FUCKIN' UP!!!

ROCKIN'!!!!

Comments are hilarious....Smell the Horse bitches!!! lol

This is the best couch tour EVA'!!!

This When You Dance/TheLoner combo is off the hook!

Fucking GREAT!!!

The real deal.

Rockin' show, very decent scope.

More Horse!

I guess Hall should have gone to Bakersfield.

Hell, he could have ridden his bike.

What a show.

So far the first shows of each venue have been the best.

So far.

Wow, the first double encore of the run, Love To Burn/Roll Another Number.

Great stuff.  They all seemed more into it than Thursday night.  The aborted Walk On was weird, but the rest was played really well.

So fortunate to have had streams every night so far.

Thanks Matt Morin for tonight.  A periscope done really well was a treat after audio only streams the last two nights.

Have a good Saturday night everyone!

Wow, crazy horse is pretty fucking cool live.

that black Les Paul really is a special piece of Rock n' roll sonic artillery.

feel very fortunate to have seen that from a good seat (even better than the one I paid for) in a nice, mellow mid sized theater like that.

Here's his complete NYCH set for the tour(?). Interesting it has song times:

Oh I get it, that's not the 'official' list, just songs he's already played.

Anyone find a stream for tonight?

I couldn't find one.

A friend who is there said they played Speakin' Out.

Speakin' Out?  I don't think I know that one.  Wonder if they will play Tonight's The Night?

I'd not heard of it either. It's on Tonight's The Night.

They're playing Hey Hey My My now.

Quick highlights from someone who was on scene:

Love to Burn

Mansion on the Hill opener

Speakin Out with Neil on piano

My My

Roll another number to close

Down by the River encore.

(He was able to go to all 5 shows so I'm taking his word.....fucker!)

Blackie. It's probably my favorite guitar of all time

I really liked Jerry's black led Paul too

it could be A thread- your  favorite guitars of all time

Looking forward to hearing last night's show at some point, but I'm pretty happy to have caught live streams of the first four.  Curious to see where this leads, if Neil stays with Crazy Horse or goes back to POTR.  These are the announced shows for Neil right now:

2018-06-23, Arroyo Seco Weekend, Pasadena, California, USA
2018-07-06, Festival d'été de Québec, Quebec City, Quebec, Canada
2018-07-14, Heart Of Gold Gala, The Hamptons, New York, USA
2018-09-23, Outlaw Music Festival, Saratoga Springs, New York, USA

Nils Lofgren starts his European tour next week, but it's over by the end of May, and he doesn't have anything else announced until mid-September.   Maybe we'll see the Horse again at Arroyo Seco and for more Summer dates.  Hoping Poncho can make it back too.

These shows have been an unexpected treat.

Thanks for posting the set list Dave.

As Arroyo Seco has already been announced as being with POTR, I doubt they'll change that.

Here's hoping they can pull off some more dates in the summer or fall!

>>>Blackie. It's probably my favorite guitar of all time

with good cause!

i never thought I'd hold a les Paul in higher regard after seeing Robert fripp a couple times but here we r.

E5E86FB6-3A57-403E-B010-36D710286AC9.jpeg

So... maybe there’s a chance for more dates?

Sounds to me like he aims to keep up the random, short notice, nice theater (or pasture?) in semi-obscure areas thing.

It was nice to see you Saturday, E!

Mully and Lefty, too!

Heck yeah, Z.

that was way cool

It just doesn't make sense that they'd just do these five for a goof and then not do anything else.

It was over 20 years ago but I can't help but see some similarities to the Old Princeton Landing shows. As they happened no one knew that more would be added, but out of the blue they just kept adding shows.

This would be a different situation, but it just seems like they're ramping up for something. I'd be really surprised if there isn't a similar run announced soon.

did bakersfield or fresno sell out??
