Oceana

Good for them!

Seth McFarlane giving $250K.  People may not like his comedy but the guy certainly gives back a shit ton of money to the community.

Good going Dead & Co.    I hope somebody dosed Jeff Goldblum.

Bobby lives on the water, like in a houseboat?  Who knew?

Was wondering why there was a three day break between Dodgers Stadium and New Mexico.  Was there any announcement of this gig beforehand?  At $5000 a ticket, I wonder if anyone was able to sneak in?

People may not like his comedy<<<<

Like who?

Stub me at the crapper window Bro

Prob. some lucky caterers,

Caterers are always a good route in.

One time when I was living back in D.C., my girlfriend and I were facing getting shut out of a Mickey Hart's Planet Drum show at the Lisner.  We were walking around the venue looking for a way in, when out came a couple of caterers loading some supplies onto their van.  My girlfriend asked them if they were hanging around to watch the show.  They said they were not and gave us their backstage adhesive passes.

The band was on when we got in, but we decided to help ourselves to some of the backstage food and drink spread, only to have Mickey's manager go flying into a rage asking where we had gotten our passes.  We didn't rat out the caterers, and were able to hastily split the backstage green room and head out into the crowd where the manager let us be and we enjoyed the rest of the show.

Awesome!

Thanks Zooey.

I think we finally know why Mickey won't/can't use sticks and play like he used to...

He's completely fucked his shoulders & wrists from years of self-congratulatory back-patting.

A good cause and good for them for an hour of effort (and royal treatment from start to finish I'm sure) but take it down a notch or three Mickey.

I bet the neighbors got in for free.

Friend of mine went...sent me a pic in front of same Oceana sign...and another of just her and Jeff...(but, of course)....she s being a little coy about telling me how she got in etc...although i blv it would be thru a family business.....

I also wish you could have gone, Zooey. Thanks for posting it. And thanks for the photos, Noodler.

Very cool!

i have a friend that worked for Oceana for years. I think he works somewhere similar now and basically provide watchdog services as related to ocean legislation and international ocean related agreements. Unfortunately, he can be a snobby deadhead that will refuse to see Dead and Co because of his adversity (or is it jealousy????)  to John Mayer. Two years ago.  Dead and co were playing in Portland within walking distance of his house and he Pre-Funked with us but turned down free tickets and wouldn’t go in, I think he sulked home to play bluegrass by himself

I will be bummed if he could have gone but decided to skip due to the desecration of John Mayer playing the hallowed Jerry songs, cuz I am less picky and would have love to have gone as his date.
