Cool beans.

This is awesome news! Very happy that this is happening, but I'm guessing no lineups? That is the norm now, huh? Any rumors floating around?

Cool artwork, as usual.

Wishing big fun to whoever can make this...

T dog with the scoop once again

ty

see you Sunday Ms Z

What are $376 tickets?

Is the end of the world coming ?

THIS is what I've been waiting for..... Just booked an AirBnB on Westchester Ave for Philoween weekend -- now I just need the tickets, LOL.

Mr Phil Lesh.

Noice.

>>>What are $376 tickets?

probly the presidential boxes up on the side?

I know the VIP early entry was like $227 after fees

The only definite friend is probably Graham.

Hopefully Molo is slotted in.

COUNT ME IN!!! Whoooohooo!!

WILLYTEE!!!! :)

Joe Russo is available, as JRAD is only playing on the 28th at Hulaween.

Will be missing the Philton big time -- why didn't Shappy buy that to create an a concert venue disneyland?

....if I can't get Philoween tix, thinking on the first set of dates (M/T/W) as it would be electric to be there on the first night that Phil steps back on the stage!

LLOLLO, hello there, the Holloween dates are already sold out, they are the make up shows for Phil birthay shows a year and a half ago. The only tickets that will go on sale friday are the 1st 2 runs on this ad, good luck. I am hoping for 18-20th tickets unless some kind zoner has Halloween tickets they cannot use and want to sell them to me. Maybe I will see ya there but doubtfull I make the 11-13th dates as I am seeing the New Mastersounds in Brooklyn that weekend and am guessing this older bones may need a rest :)

>>>>>why didn't Shappy buy that to create an a concert venue disneyland

Would you like to buy some farm land in VA? smiley

LLOLLO I hope to see you, Willytee and many more Halloween!

Wow east coast Zoners coming out of the woodwork today!  Hi there jklowan and voodoo, so good to hear from you guys.
No, don't need a farm in Lockn, VA, LOL.

Voodoo, stay in touch and please keep your ears open for Philoween extras for me.... looking for 2.

I can't do the 2nd weekend at CAP because of Phish in SF too close to those dates... and the stupid job thing, sheesh.

my sign in math answer was 9

just. Sayin'!!!!!!!

WILLY T!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

this is the best news since the beforetimes

i also predict there will be tickets aplenty, outside of the 31st

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!PHIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jill!  I was just thinking that -- since I've already got lodging booked, might as well go and stand outside of the CAP, because it would still be fun... and then someone could stub me in somehow, wink wink.

Ummmm, whos in the band?

It could easily be hot trash or a Golden Ticket depending.

I def hope to see your badass self, LLO

also

the only one i need in the band is PHIL

um, and no bobby

the rest is gravy

Likewise, Jill!

I have your Lesh is Love sticker on the back of my wagon, still!
<<<<the only one i need in the band is PHIL>>>   My thoughts exactly...

Warren, Jimmy, and Rob are free for all those dates.

Q I say.

Wonder if Phil will hit NOLA Jazzfest Oct 15/16?

Wow Grateful News, Ticketmaster wouldn't refund my 2 ada seats for my mom, and I until the rescheduled shows were announced. Iam curently looking at flights ... Unfortunately  the cap box office did refund my other 2 ada seats  but if I cant hop back over the pond for this, might have 2 ada's for sale but somehow the ticketmaster tix were 100 bucks more than the box office...time will tell!keep on keepin on Zonas, ps my phil 80 bday t shirts says it's gonna be the Q ..... 31 Oct 2021

This announcement should really help Viva hits. With almost four months to allow for endless conjecture/opining/bitching about prices, how tickets are being distributed and who might be and who SHOULD be playing with Phil, the black screen will have some old-school footing again.

Personally, I believe that as the first concerts begin for real again the energy in the rooms is going to be unreal, with everyone from the fans to the artists to the event workers all just so happy to be back.

I'm not sure if the Cap lineups will be as stacked as those Phil's 80th were going to be, but I'm not sure it will matter on the fun meter. I'm betting that room will be "CRACKLING with energy" no matter who will be playing with Phil.

While it sounds like big fun to me and being retired I now have the freedom to roam, it's highly unlikely that I'll make the effort to go all that way, but Phil will certainly get warmed up for the east coast with shows at his little place.

Phil's back.

Far out.

GO TO THE SHOW!!!!!!!!!!

Ummmm, who's in the band?  It could easily be hot trash or a Golden Ticket depending.>>>

Warren, Jimmy, and Rob are free for all those dates. Q I say.>>>

everything Lance said

especially when he said the thing Gittmo said

VIVA PHIL

Really?.....you guys would be psyched if it was the Family Band w/ Phil or a bunch of TXR busboys?

TXR busboys? Some of you guys still do that?

Peak, those guys just don't know how good the busboys at TXR are.

Clean your table, blow your mind.

At this point it could be Midnight North as the backing band with Jill on tambourine and singing France and I'd still hit a couple shows. It's been too long.

Boo

Seams like, a StreamFest to me

Anyone got the presale code for the cap shows yet? Care to share, I am signed up but have yet to get any email from them

PHILSBACK

PHILSBACK > PHILSLIVER

TY

Is anybody sure they're putting tix on sale for the 10/29-31 run today along with the first two runs?

It's ambiguous on Ticketmaster.

Thanks!

The Halloween run is a make up for canceled dates and they are all sold out. The only hope for that run is if a bunch of folks turn their tickets in, but the cap will release those as they see fit and probably will be sold via the secondary market

I know that many, if not most, people returned their tickets for a refund when the 80th Birthday shows were cancelled. Just hoping the Cap doesn't decide to sell all the returned tickets on the secondary market.

Easy peasie, got my middle run tickets and my Halloween so I am good, hope all that wanted in got em. See you at the shows :)

Got two floors for both of the Monday shows.

A little spendy though. Yikes.

Grabbed two in the balcony for Night 1.

2 bills for loge was a bit much.

Too much going on in October for us.  Although my math question equaled my number so i think i'm suppose to go. Speaking of numbers

Good to see everyone alive and kickin.

What happened to the Philton?

<<<TXR busboys? Some of you guys still do that?

Lol. Tons of people still do that because those are the lineups we still get more often than not.

Here's four pages of essentially that.....thread made ::after:: my comment.

https://www.phantasytour.com/bands/phish/threads/4737000/phil-friends-at...

"phil and his son's friends"

"it'll likely be the Terrapin Family Band aka, Phil, his son, and the Terrapin dishwashers including Ross "Mother F'ing" James"

I think what you're not understanding is that outside a 30 mile radius of Phil's insular deadhead country club, no one really wants to see regional third stringers. We all have local talent we appreciate and scenes we enjoy, but they rarely translate to a national draw that deserves or merits these types of prices.

^^^^ Hilton closed the Philton permanently last July due to COVID, dismissing 400+ employees.
With 37 acres and pools, tennis court and 1,000 person ballroom, it would make a great Deadhead retirement community / venue.

There are no published plans for the property that I could find.

"TXR East" for that ole Brokedown Palace! wink

WSP just announced Halloween in NOLA Oct 29-31, so no Q for Philoween run, the other dates still a possibility.

Wow.. shitty news about no Q. Obviously a pipe dream just kinda frustrating that Shapiro would reveal they were supposed to be the birthday run lineup. Sorta a "hey guys I know you're pissed to miss Phil's 80th, just to kick you in the nuts again I just wanted to let you know it was going to be the Q, perhaps the last time I can ever get them to play together."

Phil hasn't played with the Family Band in years.

IMG_2833.jpeg

I have 2 tickets for the 11th but not sure I can make the trip -- anyone interested?

Funny, I sent a message to the builder of Le Petit Mur de Son a long time ago suggesting that it would be a cool idea to display this at the CAP, and now my dream is coming true!

If only I could give 2 weeks notice at my job and just leave on Oct. 10 for all the shows I have on my list for October.... maybe I should do a Go-Fund-My-Tour page, LOL.

BTW, Widespread Panic does not have shows booked during this first Phil run, either.

yes please!

^^^ Jill!  Do you mean yes please to my tickets or yes please to the wall of sound? ;)

.....and Warren is not booked Oct 11 - 13 either, hmmmm.

hmmm think its gonna happen? have had rt flights in my basket for the last 5 days...hired a new cook to replace me.... Mom's game and  vaxed, me not yet... but if I must...we'll see

The only thing that I know for sure about the Phil shows is that Joe Russo will be the drummer for the middle set.

The CAP sent out an email earlier today about their Grand Re-Opening in September, if that helps to raise your confidence, Thomas.
But maybe wait to see if Phil shows up in Colorado, first, since those will be warmups for October?
He hasn't announced any TXR dates in September.... though I did notice that Melvin+JGB is now on the TXR calendar for 3 nights, same weekend as Phish SF.

These tix are overpriced. For this price you should be getting the "A list" players and nothing less.

I hope that will be the case for all you attending!

^yea right. That would be a shocking development but I nonetheless have my fingers crossed for all involved attendees!

llo emotw lol

>>>you should be getting the "A list" players and nothing less<<<

What if the actual music is "A list" but it's played by musicians from some "other list" or maybe just good players one may not know of?

Is it the players, or the music being played that matters most?

I hope everyone, including the scorekeepers enjoy the shows.

I might be able to play basketball fairly well, really well actually, but nowhere near as well as Jordan or Kobe did....for example. Would you be happy still paying top "basketball dollar" to see me play, even if I were playing with, say, Jordan and Kobe?

...I guess the kicker would be if Jordan or Kobe were selling tix before any roster was publicly released too. Rhino might be able to get away with stuff like that because they pretty much always deliver great shows/CDs/packages and people generally know they will be getting killer SBDs of some classic GD shows but, Phil, not so much. It's all good though, in terms of whatever people are ultimately willing to pay for anything in particular, for whatever reason(s).

For anyone contemplating a trip in / out of SFO: Alaska Airlines has an unusual 20% off sale (only for flights to/from SFO) that ends at midnight tonight.
Code = WhoIsKarl

I could fly nonstop to JFK RT for only $171 for the Oct 11 show... and of course then I'd want to find a ticket for the 12th.

It is very tempting... what if it's the Q?!
.... but probably won't do it since I have lots of music fun planned for the following 3 weekends.

Conundrum, or, what would <<insert name>> do?

The answer is always GTTS.

heart

...thinking, thinking.... I have a few hours to decide....

Gah I was right!!!

That's Awesome (PLQ @ Oct 11-13)!!!

The Q!  Score!

10/11-13/2021 = PLQ

HELL YEAH !!!! i wanna start walking now :)

see what happens with the other lineups, but it is great to see Phil out & making music ...amazing !

With you froggy

dreams can come true.  Xoxox

Woot!

Nice replacement for jazz fast I am a "Rookie "where should I stay?

Well, we know a lot about the first weekend lineup - very sweet.

My son tells me Dawes is great - did you like their first run with Phil?

The third weekend is the real wild card.  Who are these Brooklyn guys?

$200 for GA and $130 for balcony available now for the 11th.  Not seeing links for the 12th and 13th though.

$200 would have covered a whole tour in the early 80s.

Other Zoners will know better than me, but the Courtyard Marriott just south of Port Chester looks like one of the closest spots since Philton is closed.

The Philoween lineup is reminiscent of the 2016 Philoween lineup (except no Barry  and Luther), where I first met east coast zoners!

$120 GA's now for the 12th & 13th.

The Courtyard Marriott has been home base for my JRAD runs with no complaints.

I've stayed at the Hyatt House White Plains for past Phil runs and spent some time in the parking lot with Molo once.  It's gotten more expensive but I think all accommodations have.

Oops

Thanks will check those out

Paging JLP!!!   Please read your email!

I'm in for nights 1 and 2!

Courtyard is the best, not a bad walk but a cab is better. At least we all have the Philton memories. They should turn place that into a hippy campground.

I know of a few old school zoners attending that first set. Lucky ducks, quack quack!

Hippy campground?  A hippy retirement home and venue!

Brilliant!

There is a well-priced United flight directly to HPN (White Plains) from SFO via ORD.

But the screaming deal is $113 RT SFO > JFK
I found these on Google flights.

Oops, meant to add that the $113 RT is on Jet Blue, nonstop.

Woot!  I opted for 10/11 for the "Comeback/1st Night Energy" in combination with Monday being the best choice to sacrifice a shift at work.

It ending up being the Q is like winning PhilPhan Lotto.

Thats a tough call. I'd probably do the White plains through Chicago unless i had someone picking me up at JFK.

Woot is right!
I bought tickets *just in case*,  just for the 11th when they first went on sale, thinking the same about the night 1 energy.
For some reason, night 1 is often times the best experience of the run, IMHO.

yep, I booked into HPN -- didn't want to deal w/ transfer from JFK to Port Chester after a red-eye flight.

Way to go LLOLLO. And you owe Zooey a big thank you for reminding you of what you already know.

Wish I could be there for the Q. Trust that I will be in spirit.

Thanks Mike!
I owe the wise Zooey a big thanks for lots of things. ;)

I have never seen Q before, so this is a bucket list thing for sure.... and who knows if they'll ever play at TXR, given the "TXR situation".

>>>Would you be happy still paying top "basketball dollar" to see me play, even if I were playing with, say, Jordan and Kobe<<<

Just seeing this now, but that's a ridiculous comparison that has no relevance to what Phil does/who he plays with, even at his own little place.

Happy ya'll are getting your Hallowed Q.

It's amazing to think that it was 20 years ago when that band was blowing people's minds. Time sure has a way of moving.

LONG LIVE PHIL LESH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LONG LIVE THE GRATEFUL DEAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

.... Also looking for a sofabed or floor to crash on in exchange for West coast treats if there's interest and a little cash.

I can bring a sleeping bag.
Lodging is the thing I need to economize on this trip.
The Rye Marriott offers AAA discounts but I can't get a GOVT discount like I used to at the Philton.

I am in for the 11, 18 and Halloween. Hope to see ya there LLOLLO.

Wow jklowan knew what was up before the get-go. Good moves.  You get 'em, dude, those shows are bound to be off the chain. Low-key great lineups, both the Oct. 18 weekend, as well as the one proceeding it.

I have been staying at the la quinata, a cheap option but it's a bit further away but right off 95. reserved a room for the 18th and halloween, not sure about the 11th yet.

Got some *tentative* lodging plans already in the works, but good to hear you'll be there JKlowan!  It's been awhile!
There are several inexpensive AirBnB rooms (not an entire house) near Port Chester, t0o, for less than $75 / night, if anyone is looking.

Any interest in a Zoner meet up before the Phil Cap shows on the 11th? Please show your interest and any suggestions as to where we could meet now that the Philton can't be our gathering point. I'm really missing good tacos but am up for anything. I would love to see as many old friends as possible.

^^^^^ of course!  Happy to help research places to see if they are still open given the pandemic and whether they're good for large groups.

Has anyone been to this taco place on the canal ?  Bartaco.com

it has a large outdoor dining area.

There's also pizza, the oyster house and that Peruvian chicken place.

One of the better taco places is La Picardia right across the street from the Cap, not very big and not sure if it's still open. Depends on how many peeps want in and they do not do reservations. (Cat Wrangling Zoners begins)  I put this out to the Philzoners on facebook as well as many do not come here much any more but wanted those who did to be able to play with us. Cannot wait for these!!

Looking for a Monday 10/11 floor.....

If I go on the 11th I'd love to meet up with you BWeirCheese  and any other zoners of course.  Eugene's was the best place yet.  But closed permanently!   Thanks Covid!

Trail I hope you make the 11th, I am also in on the 18th and Halloween if you miss the opener. Love to see you!!!

Waterbury guy...there are still tics avail for ( GA- early entry) on site this AM. They are however pricey as we already know this. Hope you get a tic and get to say Hello :)

jk...def interested, I have about 6 other zoners going also...so keep me posted, would love to see you.

Will do Lynn, I have this on the facebook philzone group if you are part of it

Lynn sent you an invite didn't see you as a member if your interested

Ohhh, never knew there was a philzone group ?

Thanks and i'll pass it along to my other pz friends, so excited to see everyone grooving @ The Cap again....we ALL need this !

11,12,13.  Zoner hang sounds good

I always used to go to the Friday and Sunday shows at Winterland  for the freshness and then for the polish

I am going to visit Ron's  grave today for you all

I would post pictures bit A  I am too stupid and B posting pictures completely sucks on this websitr

Happy birthday Mr. mckernan and we will leave it on

lolol Alta mesa is close to where you live !

^^^ Love "the freshness, then the polish"  nice!

... and nothing like a CAP announcement to lift everyone's spirits and bring Zoners out of their caves, LOL.

>>>>>I have been staying at the la quinata

I've stayed there for Phil shows before, decent alternative for the money you save

Paging Thomas Gutt!  Salut! Are you and mom making the trip??

....on a different topic, for JKlowan,  I have a short list of places for a pre-func on Oct 11 and will post after a bit more research.
Would typical NY October weather allow for outdoor dining?

maybe, trying our best, Mom sure wants too, and so do I

we have tix for haloween thinking of  our costume... Just had an inspiration, might need some help, My 93 year old mom and I were thinking of dressing up as a BIRTHDAY CAKE....

we have tix for haloween thinking of  our costume... Just had an inspiration, might need some help, My 93 year old mom and I were thinking of dressing up as a BIRTHDAY CAKE....>>

I'm thinking a full head to toe Hazmat Suit may be the way to go?

Maybe even a disinfecting room with shower before and after.

Someone correct me, but I don't remember that many people wore costumes at the Philoween I attended in 2016... too crowded for costumes that take up a lot of space.

like those silly couples costumes..... .  ;-)

5C223CEF-C63F-4591-AEB9-9F82579C0FB4.jpeg

Looking forward to your suggestions, weather right now is great but you never know. I'm thinking that 1st week in Oct shouldn't be cold

How's the yakity yak at a Phil Cap show these days ?  Does the crowd have enough respect to stfu when the music's playing ? Went to a Phil Cap show a few years back, was on the floor and was pretty disappointed that the crowd kept up the yak for the entire nite. Really put a damper on things. My last few Cap shows,  Jeff Beck, Gov't Mule, all yakkity yak fests. Everyone so excited just to be there they forgot to shut up and listen to what they paid for. Meeting Of The Spirits was the last show I went to there where you could actually hear the music unencumbered.

Not really a venue issue.

In my experience, the Friday drunks chat all night.  The Sat/Sun drunks chat extra-loudly from pre-game thru set break and pass/zone out in set II (I guess from getting an earlier start).

It ain't about a building or a city.

Who can make STFU buttons?

or a tee-shirt, 1 side for COVID "Get away from me"

the other side for the tapers: STFU

I suspect the lineup would have an impact on too much talking

I hope to have rapt attention during the Q

With an occasional Yelp  or squeal or a stupid comment

I may be annoyingly requesting Saint Stephen and morning dew

who the hell knows

I do remember hanging a sign at Winterland on the balcony articulating how many days since they had last played Saint Stephen but the details are vague

Sweetwater makes a STFU shirt:

278F6F0A-987B-4C00-9303-BD6BEEA97BAA.jpeg

I think th Q could do a fanastic whipping post, have they ever done that?

>>>I hope to have rapt attention during the Q<<<

Oh, oh my. Wait while I wipe my eyes.

Thanks JJ, I got a GOOD laugh out of that one!

And that's not a comment about the HQ, or the Cap. It's commentary on the general state of people's ability, or inability to actually listen to the music.

I'm not worried about JJ though. I'm sure he'll chafe his way to the rail, where there is usually a little less chatter.

Good luck folks, and enjoy the shows!

flight booked

All right Thomas!  It will be nice to meet you and your mom at Philoween this year, woooooohoooooo!

I moved out to Hawaii back in 95 and I haven't been to a Phil and Friends show since they played New Years Eve in Hawaii back in 2017/2018. I recently found out that I'll be in town during the first three Phil shows. Does the Cap usually drop some tickets as the date of the shows approaches? If they do is it only floor that becomes available/ Thanks for any help. Really looking forward to the Q!!

$152 rt on Alaska non stop to jfk booked today

And thank you for your reply tom, as  much of my  commentary was directed to you,  but you know that

Just to be even more of a fool I may make a couple of signs with some song combos that would please me

I am going to have to elevate the verb to chafe

Higher in my lexicon

jj

FYI somehow I bought four tickets for Tuesday and have two extras at this time

It was a problem with the software and / or the server not acknowledging my first order but I figure somehow it will all work out

BTW My favorite will always be the "chicken bong"

And how those greasy hands wormed there way into the scene is some what  amazing

Paging JKlowan!    Please email me, got some interesting info to share relating to pre-func research.

....and LLTD, please tell me the chicken bong story -- what is that?

I believe that was a 1300 long post about a show at the Masonic theater

 On the old Phil zone

It was found by someone going to the market across the street

and buying some greasy chicken and then bringing his bong up near the rail

it truly was classic zoning at its finest

2005 was the beginning of the viva era

email sent

^^^ Thanks! I sent you an email earlier to the address in your profile -- hope that's still correct... but I haven't received yours yet and it isn't in my junk folder.... the magic of the Internet, LOL

That is my current email, I am having issues replying to it and sent you a new email. I also received your second email

Cool -- we're square now -- just replied to your email, thanks.

Zoners > I've researched / identified 3 excellent locations for a pre-func on October 11, and will report back once I hear from them.

Doors to the CAP open at 6:30pm, show is at 8, so I'm thinking 3 or 4pm to 6pm would be good.

All locations are no more than a 10 minute walk to the CAP.

really good work llollo

Thanks! ^^^^
Forgot to add that I also spoke with the manager at Sam's Bar and Grill, which looks to be ideal if people need food / drink / hangout location post-shows: The kitchen serves until 2:30AM and the bar is open til 4AM -- ahhh, NY!  Shuffleboard, too.

The chicken bong story derives from a fairly short-lived but legendary zoner called Mr. Showgower, who very quickly earned the zoner nickname Mrs. Howgower (I do believe hoover gets credit for that).

He was a scammer royale at shows all around the Bay Area, and he always had an angle and an opinion on everything.

The chicken bong episode happened when he was at his peak of zoning, at the very first Furthur rehearsal show in late December of '09 at what was then the funky old Masonic Hall in Mill Valley, which is now the much classier Sweetwater (that was a GREAT fuckin' show BTW).

I can't remember if he was actually using a chicken as a bong, or if he was just trying to pass around chicken to eat, as he ALWAYS had a large assortment of "snacks" at all the shows he scammed his way into.

He was a funny, odd and ultimately interesting guy. His zone peak & ultimate crash happened with the cat hair nugs episode.

Those were good times.

Thanks!
Cat hair nugs? Do tell.  This should be a separate thread "Original PhilZone Memories" or something similar.

The cat hair nugs saga was a truly classic elongated melt between Mrs. Howgower and a longtime great zoner who I can't believe I can't remember his name now.

Common' folks, help me out here, it's right on the tip of my foggy brain. Who was that classic trippy zoner who moved to Berkeley and worked at Whole Foods? He was a LONG-time zoner, before my time. He came from the east, or the south, or both, or neither.

HE was a cool guy, if VERY spacey.

But really, what's wrong with "spacey"?

Anyway, it had something to do with a deal gone bad and buds being plucked out of couches, with cat hair involved.

You're doing great so far, Lance. I wish I could remember his name but I can't. It will come to one of us quickly.

Merry Prankster.

Merry Prankster!!!

Of course.

A zoner legend.

I hope he's doing well, in whatever universe he's in these days.

Gee, I thought for sure you were talking about Brent K, LOL.

"Spacey" doesn't come close to encapsulating Brent Kliss.

I hope HE'S doing well, in whatever universe HE'S in these days.

Surfdead, you're amazing.

So is Brent k

I've told this story here before but my fav old zone thread was the fainting goat. I had at that time set up a network in my home and being the naive hippy that I am left it open/unprotected, figuring if someone hoped on, who cares. Well someone used my network to threaten a local politician and I had the state police show up with  all kinds of printouts from my web postings and low and behold they had like 300 pages of the fainting goat thread, unbelievable, I can laugh now but was truly frightened as some serious allegations were being tossed my way. It all worked out but that thread that the Denver crew made up was hysterical. The story had John Olson setting off fireworks to cause the goat to faint and got arrested, just an amazing job.

What is the cheapest and easiest way to get from the Cap to JFK Airport without a car?

Hawaii gobeach on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 – 09:32 pm

I moved out to Hawaii back in 95 and I haven't been to a Phil and Friends show since they played New Years Eve in Hawaii back in 2017/2018. I recently found out that I'll be in town during the first three Phil shows. Does the Cap usually drop some tickets as the date of the shows approaches? If they do is it only floor that becomes available/ Thanks for any help. Really looking forward to the Q!!

Good timing! Which Island are you living on?

^^^ A Lyft / Uber from CAP to JFK will take about an hour and cost around $60... I already researched that when I was looking at JFK. Double that price if going from JFK to CAP

If you use Google Maps or Rome to Rio travel planner, that can help you figure out public transportation options by choosing the bus/train icon instead of the car icon.   Public transport looks like lit would take a little over 2 hrs, but you didn't mention whether you are traveling right after the show or in the morning....

Maybe there's a NY Zoner who can advise on this better than I can...

Thank you LLOLLO! That's not too bad for an Uber.  It's an early flight so probably a little after the show.

^^^ Budget a little more.. for Lyft / Uber... Lyft has a scheduler so, just to test, I put in a departure time of midnight from CAP for this coming Monday, and the price came up as $75...

So . . . no Croz night among this reconstituted run?   I'd have liked to hear it.
