We were there! Looking forward to experiencing this again!

Great sound, great playing, still wish I liked bluegrass. Probably not going to last.

Well, surprise to me I am really enjoying this. At least the wayfaring stranger.

It was funny how Tony encouraged us to enjoy adult beverages and adult herbs.

We did just that...for a moment.

Parking lot attendants did not approve, lol.

BTW We have seen Rob Ickes with Trey Hensley twice at FPR.

I had forgotten Rob was with Tony Rice Unit. Stellar playing all around!

Judit, check out whatever you can find of the upcoming (?--might be out by now) John Hiatt/Jerry Douglas Band collab.  A couple tracks have popped on big-ass NYC college radio recently.

Might push you deeper into some bluer grass.

Robert Earl Keen also took his own songbook on a BG trip.  Did the album/tour thing so there's content out there.

At least, this way, you get some first-class songwriting with yer twang.

Okay, thanks, Bluest, I'll check into John Hiatt/Jerry Douglas Band. Most of tonight's Tony Rice was swell, and not too jangly for my taste.

That was incredible! TRU @ FPR reminded us of our favorite local music venue - The Wildflower Pavilion in Lyons. A listening audience is so rare.

We were reminded of a Darol Anger and Mr Sun show there.

Oh and I forgot to mention how much I love Bryn Davies on bass.

Stellar show!
