They had to push back the opening date a few weeks because they had too much snow.

Wow, didn't quite realize at the time of this post about where this is, but was just there about 3 weeks ago with my dad ... we stayed in Red Lodge and drove the Beartooth highway to Gardiner.   I actually walked down to near the top of the upper platter terminal to investigate what it was all about, but couldn't figure out if it was recently operational or a remnant from long ago.  Definitely situated in one of the coolest areas / passes I've been.
