I just watched parts of a couple of Dawes songs,  feeling a little meh so far, anyone got suggestions as to what they like from them?

(didn't really check out any lyrics, just a quick stab to see what kind of players they are, hard to tell with simple pop songs)

Taylor writes excellent, simple pop songs (I used to know "A Little Bit of Everything" but I'm not sure I still do).  Not sure what makes them friends material.

Dude can write a song, to be sure.  Haven't heard any instrumental heroics.

And I'm not familiar with any Dawes member's kitchen credits.

3 night run could be curious then...  glad we get a free peek on Thursday!

Here's some live Trevor Menear showing some of his guitar chops (my first time seeing them), interesting combination of influences
