Where's the love for DSO at Red Rocks?

Thanks. Nick is opening?

GD tribute band fatigue.

They got the classic gear from '78.

...and the Phil guy is almost accurately fat for that era, too.

Is Jerry wearing a Clash shirt?

May contain artificial Garcia....

Real Donna is there.

i wonder if fat donna is in the crowd.

I'm very happy for these guys and gal.   Tonight has been over 20 years in the making.

Hope it goes over big!   Cheers to all who made the trip.

Nice to see Donna sing, and the pro shot video is fun to watch.

Seeing Red Rocks Amphitheater always moves me ... and good tunes to boot

Has the director of this ever done a concert before?

Tight shots and quick jumps do not for a pleasant experience make

Band sounds good though

Seems to be audio there.

My Red Rocks  visit was Summer 1982.  There was some 'Trips Festival' conference in Boulder where new experiments were handed out,  so I heard.

Two "Other One" on night 1 & 3.

It's a very Cool place.

Holy Cow.  Wasn't able to check into the stream tonight, but just skimmed for the highlights, and it appears there were many.  I'll have to watch later.  Hope the show was well attended!

It was the first time they sold out RR, apparently. An announcement was made before 2nd set.

I think it was a retrospective of the 7/8/78 GD Red Rocks Show about 40 years ago.

Made the trip out from SF for the 8/30 and 8/31 shows after hearing rave reviews on the streets about the venue.  IMO these are underrated gems, and it was fun hearing the new material in such a wonderful place.

I'll confess to not popping my RR "cherry" until 3 Furthur shows in 2012. We had such a blast we went back in '13 for three more. The venue should unquestionably be on every music lovers bucket list. Has to be some of the best  natural acoustics on the planet...

Same.  I remember one of the shows they spelt the setlist out so the first letter of each song title read as STEAL YOUR FACE.

I have a bit of an aversion to shows with Garcia in the middle. It just doesn't work.

Good thing you probably didn't go to the Egypt shows. That would have sucked for you.

I got to see the Grateful Dead's "last stand" at RR in '87. Unforgettable.

The Garcia Band was supposed to play there in '92 or '93, but that got scrubbed, which was a shame as that band would have rocked that place.
