playing at the Applegate Lodge July 10 & 11. These shows have not been announced by the lodge yet, but you can get the tickets here: https://tickets.vendini.com/ticket-software.html?e=0bb5ebc948916d2bc9642...

This is is a tiny venue with big sound and a decent atmosphere. Pretty sure these shows will sell out. Doubtful if more dates will be added, these guys all have multiple musical commitments.

I have to check out that place sometime, but its quite the haul to get there from pretty much anywhere.

The lodge was featured in a silly TV show called "Hotel Hell," where the host visits hotels and gives them advice on cleaning up and how to run things:

What's up with Bobby Vega?

I was kind of wondering that too, his sound is kind of a signature on this music. But Pete is my favorite bass player so I’m not complaining. Hopefully all is well with senor vega.

I saw Bobby Vega play in New Orleans at the beginning of this month so he is fine. He played at a small place (Hi Ho Lounge) with Papa Mali, Will Bernard, Theresa Anderson & Nikki Glaspie under the name Plastic Bouquet. It was their first time paying in this lineup.

I'm looking forward to seeing this lineup at the fair.

I love watching Pete play bass, but it would be nice to see Vega again.

If Phil is at OCF, and Kimmock is at OCF, and if Jill doesn't make the trip - maybe?

Who is the vocalist?

I don’t know if zero has played with a vocalist since judge Murphy died? Hard to believe it’s been two years since this show at the Sweetwater. This is a good video with multiple cameras (Pete has his own), and really excellent sound: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=EhXYHPO1SYo

This is a nice rendition of "Up on Cripple Creek" from a sushi bar

So glad you’re there, Bss. Happy times.

This sounds kind of contrived, but it happens to be the truth...Kimock is the only guitarist since Garcia that during a live performance  I close my eyes and see fractals, for whatever that may be worth.
