Political Threads in Other Stuff

The origin of the request to start political threads in the Politics folder was when people were posting in political threads in ways that were outside the rules of civility at VLZ. Understanding that there’s passion in political discourse, the solution was to shift those threads to the Politics folder where it was expectable and acceptable.

At this point, it’s evident that some amount of political posting in OS is what feels comfortable to the majority of the group and the posting has been civil. These are stressful times and people need space for coming together with discussion. We will of course retain the right to move threads to Politics when it gets more contentious than we’re comfortable with.
