Journey Pipe

Forums:

Holy shit, best pipe ever. My sister recently gave me this pipe for my birthday. Love it. Anyone else?

woah, that's like james bond design and slickness ~ cool!

is it strictly flower usage?

Yes, flower. I love how the pipe has three pieces that are held together with magnets, makes it super easy to clean. Nice weight to it too.

So sleek. How long is it?

probably four or five inches, fits fine in hand or in pocket

I am getting caught up on glass & we have some local glass pipe artist. I buy 2 a year & even mailed flashbacks a couple, as they are very pretty.

But I for the life of me can get a screen to stick in them & have given up on that, for that for the most part.

I smoke out of very clean glass bong-pipes if at all possible. I now smoke out of these glass pipes if I am nailed down to my desk at night.

For concert situations, like tonight, I bring a wooden "Monkey Pipe".  Taste so good out of there & low-key.

I have the one in the middle -

I am going to get the small one for concerts.

Wng, how does it work with-out a screen?

Thanks

Thanks for the question, Bluelight.

works well without the screen, they claim the design allows the pipe to hit fine without a screen, and I would concur. One thing I have noticed is that you need to clean it regularly (since the three pieces separate easily, this is very simple to do) but it leads to some resin on fingers sometimes. The bigger challenge for concerts would be if it sets off metal detectors since it is made of metal. Wouldn’t be a problem where I live since weed is legal, but in some places it could be an issue. Being able to flip the lid closed over the bowl means you can take a few tokes, close the lid and slip it back in your pocket in a stealth like manner

Thanks a lot for writing, this firm is a M-F, 9-5 deal, just like the  Monkey Pipe people above.

For like a week straight, I forget to contact them - I visit this thread, smoke & ponder

Funny you should write this; Saturday night concert security at a Beth Hart concert, found my Monkey Pipe.

They will catch even wood pipes.

Closet head-shop for me is 12 miles away & I have tried every screen or marble thingy & nothing works. This is worth a shot

Getting the JP jr in the AM.

Thanks wng ~

Ok, just proudly purchased the J2 Journey Pipe in "Midnight".

The sales lady was real nice.

Grabbed some old-school Jamaican last week, that has been prevalent in NYC for over 30 years; it's what folks re-named East Coast Diesel to loose where it really comes from.

Anyways, guy next-door sells these really nice glass pipes for $3 a piece. Really cool Jammy ashtrays too.

Thanks for the cool tip Wng ~

Got it, its black & very heavy. Not going very far, very fast with this thing, its made out of lead & carbon.

Smokes like a glove ~

Love it.

I brake out the "Iron" late at night.

It has such a shallow bowl -on-this-one, that I have turn off my fan to have a portion of a flame try and burn it.

So its so windy on Long Island its an indoor high end mid-night toke utensil.

Magnets are not something I let my son put in his mouth as a child, I told the sales lady.

It will de magnetize before breaking she said.

I'm down!

I'm assuming there's no actual lead in it - if there is, it would be rather dangerous to put it in one's mouth.

Lead cannot be magnetized.

I think its a titanium magnetized composite. They make oral braces, prosthetics, rockets & golf clubs with. An alloy that enhances the sweetness of the flower somehow, imo.

Sales lady said they have a more then one vendor "doing the magnets"

Its heavy & I dropped 3 times from a 6 feet, & it will not break.

Its a "Two Button Hand Me Down" that will out live me for sure"

Its an Iron alloy..

I have lost very few things in my life.

But the top of this sucker didn't survive the Venus fly-trap Honda, I called home for 5 months.

Going to call these folks tomorrow.

If they are giving you one-last-hit in-life; this is the ticket...
