Going to see guitar great Johnny A. at the Boulton Center in Bayshore Long Island tomorrow night 10/13.

Plenty of seats still available, help make it a not so intimate night.

Johnny A. is a phenomenal guitar player. Currently the Yardbird's lead guitar player and doing solo stuff on his own.

This is my first time seeing him and I am looking forward to it.

Johnny A absolutely ripped tonight at the Boulton Center in Bayshore.

Gifted guitarist. Really threw the kitchen sink at us, does it all. Jazz, Blues, Rock you name it.

Opened up with a few tracks from his last CD Driven. Jeff Beck like

Johnny A is currently the lead guitarist with the Yardbirds, so we got a few Yardbird songs including a nice version of Heart of Stone.

A half hour set of Beatles songs that had the small audience taking on the vocals, sweet. The entire audience singing "Ticket to Ride" I will never forget that for as long as I live

A blues set that included a BB King touring story, Rock Me & Cross Roads.

Can't think of a better guitar player in the world, tonight.

Nice guy who I was glad to have met after the show.

Go see Johnny A!

Fuckin' A!

Fuckin' Johnny A!

Johnny played an incredible version of Led Zeppelins Whole Lotta Love with the wild Jimmy Page jam in the middle.

I turned and looked at my father and his eyes were closed and his head tilted back in full hyper space mode Ala that photograph of Slacker.

Johnny A cocked his head back and laughed out loud and kept on jamming. It was a weird/embarrassing/awkward moment I think I'm proud of. I think..
