everyone thinks they are a
everyone thinks they are a part of some political revolution these days. when you surround yourself with media outlets all designed to follow a specific ideology, refuse to respect and empathize with ideas you disagree with, and get your ideas on public opinion from like minded people you surround yourself with on social media and IRL, its always going to seem like you are part of some revolution.
the "alt right" or whatever you want to call it is doing the same thing, surrounding themselves with people and media that support their worldview and thinking they are part of some political revolution to "make america great again".
luckily none of these revolutions will actually come to fruition. now, a political movement that seeks to understand all sides of a debate, empathize with those they disagree with, give fair consideration to all media sources, and actually work together would be a revolution.

<<<<<<luckily none of these revolutions will actually come to fruition.
Trump and Alt Right have the Presidency & are tearing up the Republican party again in 2018 midterms. Bernie Sanders & Elizabeth Warren are tearing up the democratic party as we know it ahead of 2018 & 2020
<<<<<< and get your ideas on public opinion from like minded people you surround yourself with on social media and IRL, its always going to seem like you are part of some revolution.
Not on social media unless zone counts. Was a republican and a Ross Perot fan from 1985-2000 and a democrat ever since. Worked on a local GOP congressional campaign in 1992.
<<<<<<<now, a political movement that seeks to understand all sides of a debate, empathize with those they disagree with, give fair consideration to all media sources, and actually work together would be a revolution.
I do quite a bit of opposition research watching analysis shows with multiple Republican strategists like Steve Schmidt, Frank Lutz, Grover Norquist, Mike Murphy, Ana Navarro, Mary Matlin . GOP columnist like Peggy Noonan, George Will, David Brooks, David Frum, Bill Kristol & Charles Krauthammer & people who have worked in different republican administrations going back to Nixon, Democratic administrations going back to Carter and recent ones like David Plouffe, David Axelrod & pollster Nate Silver. Also read people like Ralph Nader, Robert Reich, Naomi Klein, Charles Pierce, Noam Choomsky and Molly Ivins (RIP)
Watch PBS (Bill Moyers, Frontline & The McLaughlin Group, PBS Newshour), CNN (Don Lemon/Anderson Cooper), MSNBC (Morning Joe (R), Hugh Hewitt (R), Nicole Wallace (R-Bush Admin), Chris Matthews Ccrossfire, Meet The Press-Chuck Todd/Tim Russert, Rachel Maddow, Ari Melber, Chris Hayes), FOX, HBO. Comedians who speak to power like Bill Hicks (RIP), Bill Maher Realtime, Seth Myers and late night hosts recap of political stuff on Morning Joe.
Read fishwraps like Boston Globe & Herald, Worcester Telegram, New York Times, Washington Post, San Francisco Gate, San Jose Mercury News, Modesto/Sac Bee.

Bernie Sanders & Elizabeth
Bernie Sanders & Elizabeth Warren are tearing up the democratic party as we know it ahead of 2018 & 2020<<<
And party stalwarts are already ramping up the "you screwed up the black jack table outcome" rhetoric.
