Thanks Republicans For Raising My Taxes

Forums:

Wow I thought with all the bullshit at least my taxes would go down, but no. Apparently I need to contribute to a corporate tax cut. Seriously fuck Republicans

No matter what - we are all victims of colossal lies, deceit and theft from this racist, anti-science, anti-logic, fuck everyone but the wealthy Kleptocracy.

If it wasn't for having to deal with the dumbest asshole who ever ruled our country, to his pathetic, corrupt and abhorrent party, we'd be stuck with a bunch of Democratic crooks who rigged the election to help Hillary and fuck Bernie which gave us the Mango Face Fucktard and  his fuck the world, I'm the only one that matters reality we are living in.

But he says every household will get a four thousand dollar a year raise. Lying mother fuckers.

Thom?

good luck spinning on this one

Wait... wasn't I promised enough money to buy a new car or renovate my kitchen?

World on fire.

^^^ yes and you can do it all for the $1,000 that trump’s top economic adviser thinks those things cost!

we are gonna need some lube for this

no, not gonna lower YOUR taxes...

just corporations and rich people.

go "conservatives", go!

The bill won't pass. The Republicans are incompetent and can't get anything done.

Don't worry folks, when the corps get their tax breaks, they'll pay it forward.

HAHAHAhahahahahahahahaha

What really cheeses me off is that they want to take the deduction for state taxes away.  Fuck you.

"Apparently I need to contribute to a corporate tax cut."

Actually, you're contributing to make up for the people that will now be paying 12%.

I thought you guys were all for wealth redistribution?  Apparently that's only true if it's other peoples money.

It would definitely cut my taxes. But I take the standard deduction, am married and file jointly, and have children.

Yeah corporations and inheritance tax just get cut, but my savings come from some five dimensional chess move. Not buying it. I thought Republicans were just for cutting taxes.

Trump hates California

Clown shoes

Trumps ass hairs are on his forehead

^No doubt.

I meant the hating California part.

But I'll go along with the rest of your statements as well.

Heard that college endowments will be taxed.

Churches will be allowed to engage in political speech and remain tax exempt.

A- fucking - men.

Well said.

and this.

>>>  It would definitely cut my taxes. But I take the standard deduction, am married and file jointly, and have children.

You would lose a $4000 persasonal exemption for each member of your family.

If you have one kid, that loss is greater than the expanded standard deduction.

If you have two kids, you just lost 4000 in net deductions (16k for exemptions vs +12 standard).

>> If you have two kids, you just lost 4000 in net deductions (16k for exemptions vs +12 standard).

The standard deduction would now be 24k for married couples, right?

Oh I see what you mean - I lose 16k in exemptions, which is not offset by the increase of 12k in the standard deduction.

But that doesn't factor in the larger child tax credit, $300 credit for parent/non-child dependent, and lower effective tax rate.

My tax rate remains the same and I lose my hefty deduction for State and Local taxes (living in NJ, one of the highest taxed states in the country), which will not be offset by the increase in the standard deduction. I will continue to get less back in services than I pay in taxes (NJ tops, or bottoms, the list for least return on investment for federal tax dollars).

So, fuck me.

No, fuck you!

Apparently the bill would tax the value of academic scholarships for grad students.

That makes sense to me:  the GOP hates science, so lets make less of them!

The bill as written in the House apparently can't get through the Senate because of budget-related rules. But the things they've decided to cut still send signals about their priorities, and shocking they're not with working people.

>>>   they're not with working people.

Foreigners own around a third of the ownership of US companies.

They'll get a big tax cut.

Maybe some of them work.

Prince Allaweed, works, I think...it must be work managing billions of dollars in investments.

I'm sure that giving Prince Allaweed a tax cut will do wonders for our economy.

He'll buy gold toilets in a few new Trump penthouses.

That'll definitely put people to work.

>The GOP's focus on the unborn in its tax plan appears to tie into the party's alleged war on abortion rights. Just yesterday, Republican Representative Steve King, of Iowa, presented a six-week abortion banat a House hearing, where he played the ultrasound of an 18-week-old fetus.

"He can't wait to be born," King reportedly said at the time.

King's bill is known as the "Heartbeat Protection Act of 2017" and argues that a woman shouldn't be allowed to seek an abortion after the first detection of a fetal heartbeat.

"The abortion bill would ban abortion before a woman even knows she is pregnant," Symone Sanders, a Democratic strategist, told Newsweek.

"Today we have a tax bill that codifies in law that 529s, aka new tax savings accounts, can be opened in the name of 'children in utero.' This is lock in step with the GOP's war on women and their attempts to limit our bodily autonomy," she said.

Good lord holy Jesus amen.
