Saw him with Daniel Lanois' Black Dub a few years back. Brilliant drummer. Loved him with Joni Mitchell circa '98 as well.

Steel House came through last
Steel House came through last week in Denver. It was a trio with brian. I did not go due to had other shows both nights. Taper friends went and they said not a good turnout due to it was called Steel house and not brian blade trio and no one knew who that band was. They both called me and told me how good it was and tried to get me to go the second night. They said each musician in the trio was top notch. I attended BLOrk (Boulder laptop orch) creating Sun Ra - "Songs from Space" that night at the planetarium.
