Uh fuck... A better question would be what part of GGP haven't I slept in? I prefer camping
up near the Sunset District off Lincoln. The Redwood Grove across from the newer Arts museum
is nice too. The deeper you go into the park however the better. I know places in that park
that no one checks on for months at a time. The closer you get to Ocean Beach the less likely
you are to experience fog condensation from the trees. I have spent months at a time living there.
Most recently I slept there in August. I'm home in Alaska now though.
Are you thinking of moving into the park? Be careful. Not as safe as it used to be.

I found an epic frisbee golf course on the Lincoln side of the park a few years ago. Been meaning to play a round or two there.
One of the first times I camped in Golden Gate was for the Jerry Garcia memorial in Polo Fields. There were thousands of
us those couple of nights. Hard to believe it's been twenty-one years...

I once went a whole six
I once went a whole six months without a shower living in GGP. This was about 2005.
I was addicted to cocaine so bathing wasn't the highest priority on my list. Had a pretty bad
case of body lice too. Got it from a blanket I found in a trash bag that said "Free please take".
Rat bastards! I was in bad need of a blanket... That is the longest I had ever gone showerless ever or since.
Usually though I would bathe about once a week. I believe I started a thread about it at the time.

In my defense I was a drug addict and mentally ill. Very sick and not exactly in the right mindset. Not something I would attempt
today. By the way, there are no "hacks" outlined in my posts here. It has been suggested I create a YouTube account for
that very thing though. Survival videos and trolls about the dangers of hemp drugs. My experiences could be helpful when

I believe my bottom was right before I quit drinking in 2013. I had many lows, especially with cocaine addiction a decade ago,
but alcohol was my breaking point. Always was really. I am now sober 1190 days and am the happiest I have been in years.
