Completely blown away by Gary Hoey & his 22nd annual "Ho-Ho" Hoey Holiday show as it kicked off at the Boulton Center in Bayshore, Long Island last night.
This guy rocks! Have the kids watch this...
Put me right into the Holiday Spirit. But don't fret it's still musically demented enough to be real real fun.
Grab some egg-nog, beer, or whatever puts you in the holiday spirit for the holiday songs.
But Gary Hoey's non-holiday songs are fantastic (like Deja Blues & Peace Pipe) with absolute amazing guitar work.
My videos really capture the concert in the context of the tracks listed. But what is missing (due to data space shortages) is 3 numbers where he came out and played the most wonderful Dobro guitar work.

The song Deja Blues reminds me of guitar player Robin Trower, who I've always liked.
I think Peace Pipe sounds like guitarist Eric Johnson a bit.
