The DJ I saw open for LCD
The DJ I saw open for LCD soundsystem a few weeks ago appeared to b a fairly non-descript, middle aged, black man in a plain sweatshirt.
He looked like he should b teaching gym at a Detroit middle school.
i loving referred to him as DJ coach krenshaw.
anyhow, near the end of his set, he was mixing the Eminem trump freestyle with some phat beats, really livened the thing up.
just felt like this was a reasonable place to share that experience.

can i interject here? its unrelated but when i saw tool at the gorge, the "crystal method" was opening. i had no idea. the poor dude though, went into a super hyped up yell the the crowd intro to his big # when they pulled the plug after 20 seconds of that. hilarious and one one the harshest professional sound things i've witnessed.
