Shappy's wiki page

Forums:

Just saw it for the first time.  Has this ever been discussed around these parts?

I found the section "Exclusive Contract with Phil Lesh, Grateful Dead Reunion" to be interesting reading:

I guess "We landed on the moon!".

Can we still talk about it?

Looks almost like a glorified press release.  Would it be fair for "others" to contribute to the wiki page?  ... definitely not suggesting anything underhanded by any stretch, but something which conveys "another side of the story" for various items raised.

He's like the new Kona....

Definitely!  I haven't stumbled on that one, so thank you.  I share your thoughts in that it's a bit over-the-top.  I can picture him scrutinizing the details of the thing in an effort to help shape his legacy.

I don't know the man and generally stray away from bashing the guy.  My friend works under him at the Cap and she has nothing but the nicest things to say about the guy.  I usually stand on the side when people start slinging mud but, yea, his page is a bit whack.

Why is there more written about Shappy than Todd Bridges on wiki?

He's done a lot more than I have, and we're the same age. Good work, Shaps.

lol sure thing washy

I wonder if he'd pay stupid money for a numbered Garcia print (#1 of . . . I forget . . . 500, maybe?).

Might look good behind the bar.
