Not much of a pipe bomb artist, the suspect.
He barely blew up his own jacket. Guy was probably carrying a home-made firecracker to light off later, in celebration of his assimilation into Western culture. Story said he's in the hospital. Fortunately, no serious injuries to the other people affected.

I once approached PABT from the east side, and there was a raging fire on the third level, 8th Ave side, where some of the bus gates are. People looked up and did not even break stride before entering the building.
