Trump doesn't want to be potus. He is trying to force the electoral college into voting in another Republican That is not him. The man is crazy. I hate Pence, and don't even know if that will be their choice, but Trump isn't moving into the White House. The only up side of this is the time delay. Obama could get another year in office before this scandal is sorted out.
just turned on MSNBC to watch a little Chris Matthews.
Did you guys know that the Russians are the reason Trump is going to be president?
When Matthews asked his guests (a few obscure democratic congessmen still sporting red asses) why the Russians would want Trump in office they were a bit less decisive.
One mentioned Rex Tillerson, a " Friend of Russia" who came out of the woodwork within the last few days to grab the secretary of state job.
Seems the Russians knew Trump was going to select Tillerson for this job before Trump even knew who this guy was!!!
Im not sure who's smarter. The folks on MSNBC or the Russians?
Now that President-elect Donald J. Trump has chosen Rex W. Tillerson, the chief executive of Exxon Mobil, to be the next secretary of state, the giant oil company stands to make some major gains as well: It has billions of dollars in deals that can go forward only if the United States lifts sanctions against Russia.
As head of America's largest oil company, Mr. Tillerson has earned a friendship award from Russia and voiced skepticism about American sanctions that have halted some of Exxon Mobil's biggest projects in the country.

XOM has a 384 billion market cap. It operates in most of the world's countries. To assume something nefarious is going on because they have interests in petroleum rich Russia is silly fearmongering.
Thanks to WikiLeaks, we now know that Obama was seeking and following the advice of Wall Street even before he was elected; in a remarkable email dated October 6, 2008, Michael Fromer, an executive at Citigroup, wrote John Podesta, co-chair of Obama’s transition team (and in 2016 the chairman of Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign), with a list of candidates for 31 cabinet-level positions as “recommended by various sources for senior level jobs.” The list bore a striking resemblance to the names that ended up in the cabinet, including Eric Holder (Attorney General), Robert Gates (Defense), Rahm Emmanuel (Chief of Staff), and Peter Orszag (Office of Management and Budget). For Treasury, the list had only three names: Timothy Geithner, Larry Summers, and Robert Rubin. In the end, Geithner became Secretary of Treasury, Summers Director of the National Economic Council, and Rubin a trusted informal advisor.
We need a incompetent career politician as secretary of state. Someone who is greedy and corrupt. Someone who is not afraid to lie to the American public. Someone who can use the position to make millions for herself and her corrupt family. Someone who is not afraid to put the United States nation security in jeopardy in order to hide all her illegal activity.

Obama named Geithner (a regulator) and Summers (an academic).
I see your point, that's just like appointing the guys who run Goldman.
What I find baffling is that, after all these years, you would think I have a problem with Goldman running the Treasury.

Keep an eye on Russian
Keep an eye on Russian sanctions, Ender.
Nothing nefarious, but billions in Exxon's investments in Russia are on hold at the moment, due to Russia invading Crimea.
I expect us to lift the sanctions so that Exxon's ability to drill in Russia is restored.
Why do you think that is a claim about nefarious activity? Seems quite transparent.
