I saw Earl Camble sing with Mearl

Forums:

Lol. Meant to say Merle Haggard. Earl sang like he talks and he promoted his sausage. 1992/3-ish on New Years in Austin.

What odd duets have you seen?

I was at the famous UB40 show at Jones Beach in '85, when Chrissie Hynde from the Pretenders came out and sang "I Got you Babe" with Ali Campbel.

We don't get good breakfast sausage around here.

Cheech and Chong in their heyday- '75-ish

Who is Earl Camble?

David Lindley and Richard Thompson

Prince and Gwen Stefani

Bootsy Collins and Snoop Dog

Houston Oiler Hall of Fame Running Back and Breakfast Sausage Tycoon - Earl Campbell #34 ^

^^^ Skoal brotha!

I saw Olympian Carl Lebis sing the national anthem on tv

I screwed up the spellings big time.

Is that supposed to be Carl Lewis?

Just messing with you jaz

I saw SRV sit in with Neville Bros at Tips. Weird Al was in the audience. That was neat.

Neil Young w/Bruce Springsteen.

Steven Seagal sit-in with the Allman Brothers, May 2000.

Paul Simon and Gloria Estefan, singing "Bridge Over Troubled Water" at the Hurricane Andrew Relief Concert 1992

By far - the weirdest collaboration I've seen was the experience of seeing Bill Graham nudge Eddie Van Halen
on to the Shoreline stage (equipped with a piezo-pick-up enabled Parker Fly guitar) at the 1993 Bridge School Benefit
to accompany Simon and Garfunkel on "Sounds of Silence."

The first thing that came to mind was that quote from Wavy Gravy: "trainwreck of the mind."

One of the coolest ones I saw was at the very last day of the very last Bridge School Benefit.

First time Neil Young ever collaborated with Roger Waters.
(also with Jim James and G.E. Smith)

I capped this vid:

I love Earl Camble. He was a great running back for the Houston Oilers

I saw Mommy kissing Earl Camble underneath the sausage link last night.

Dylan and Bono in Las Vegas in '99.

I don't care for Bono.

I'm imagining Earl in a white cowboy hat.  Or remembering, perhaps.

When Bum went to the Saints and brought half of the Oilers with him the Saints finally had a not so bad year.

You an Oilers fan, Jaz?

earl campbell was a man among boys in the NFL.  his legs were like two tree trunks.

Saints, Slacker.
