Our Dusty turned 10 in January.

He's doing pretty good, but is about ready for spring.

Oh Hall, that face! I must have had a few cats who looked like that when I was young.

look at hall with the professional portrait :D thats a super cute cat!

I'm going to change my strain in order to more fully enjoy this fine thread. Perhaps that would be good advice for some others, as well. Brb.

Have been contemplating making "steps" up to the window ledge for Muka ... who's about 17 and can no longer jump up / down from there.

((Latex’s mom’s cat hammock))

that what we did with our old cat, face ~ the steps seemed to work well for him.

good luck.

Why is anybody's mom being brought up in this thread, Gravytrain?

Your dad’s out the pic, obvs.

Is that your spank sock, FOM?

That's some very hurtful language, Gravytrain. I'm sorry to see that kind of vitriol being spewed, but - to be honest - I don't expect much better from you.

I've got a better question, Latex.

Why was anyone's Father, constantly being brought up as troll bait ?

(((((Your feels))))

Thanks, yeah ... need to figure out a plan ... maybe use scraps of carpet (like in the photo) for traction.   Probably need to start thinking about building a ramp up the stairs too.

Even though that pic is about 12 years old, I can safely say "no".

I think it's high time some here took a nice deep breath, and maybe a nice long walk.

I will lead by example, and perhaps take some more (((cat hammock))) photos.

Talk to you soon, friends.

((better questions))

You know what they say about

when you can't take the heat kids....

Hüsky has been working on his commercial Backhoe license training.  After all,  he is a "Working Dog".

Trying for Grants at local community colleges,  and Kubota might sponsor H.I.M.  eventually.

The difficult part is trying to find a Hard-Hat that fits  H.I.M. properly.  Digging comes naturally.  Looking for Inuit / Siberian Native funding Grants.

just put down the kids' gato 2 weeks ago.

20+ yrs old.

Lightning misses his bro Thunder (RIP) and wants a kitten.

sorry to hear that, mr turtles... was that the bunny killer?

speaking of 'pro portraits' (lol!) here's our previous kitteh... she would leave headless gophers on the doorstep... broke my heart when we finally had to put her down.

Great;  just brought my 15 year old Stella Blue on a vacation to Whiteface Mountain!  My band played the lodge.  The Jack Russel did great as usual on the road!

Just got a tuxedo kitten today from KATA - kitty angel something or other. A stray, who is pretty nervous....and also very content snuggling under the covers.  Only three hours into the new relationship, but he sure can purr.  I hope he likes it here.

Scooter's doing well.

And since we're talking about parents, he was my mom's dog but now he's mine.

Good pictures of so many cuddly things. Nice.

Mine are itching for spring...

Dusty is doing pretty good the last 2 weeks, with no fleas this summer & void of any meds for it, for now.

When Dusty was  younger, he was kind of a problem child, smoking pot, failing grade, calls to pick him up at the Police Station, Rocking it out to The Stray Cats until the sun-came-up ~

Just got a letter from the town & he's up for "Dog License Renewal" & there's no-way he's going to pass a Drug-test.

The dog, Xylo, has been obsessed with trying to hump the cat, Pepe.   Funny thing is that Pepe puts up with it.

I just walked Dusty & he got "Hoovered" by a Poodle ^

He was scared a little; but I told him it was a compliment.
