But yeah, Sunshine Daydream is a wonderful video to be sure...
another just cause.... Ventura 7-13-85 energy is off the hook in this first set. I believe it was Live Aid day and the first couple of tunes were shown at that big stadium during a break, but I am not positive on this... enjoy
Crimson white & indigo is one of my favorite official releases. Far as others there's way too many to choose from. The capitol theatre b&w videos are great as is roosevelt stadium 8/4/76, but there's a ton of stuff just from voodoonola esp if you like brent era. Maybe my favorite thing about YouTube
The Hard to Handle from the Backstage Pass commercial release is my personal all time favorite Dead on Video. Smoking music with intense jam (3-24-1971?) cleverly mixed with old concert footage of the Pigpen era band and the dead guys and friends goofing off.
There is a version floating around on Youtube, but the music and video are a couple seconds off which takes away from how well they mixed it on the commercial release:
Full video of the show, including the Chimpanzee show at setbreak. And Phil is turned WAY up and is an absolute beast. The Help opening the second set will rattle your windows if you turn it up.
This thread is turning in to a marvel. Great choices above. While checking out the above mentioned Merriweather 84 vid I noticed 12/28/83 part of the New Years run at the San Francisco Civic Center which I attended. This is an official pro shot and am grooving on this big time. Jerrys voice is youthful and crystal clear. Excellent quality all around. Worth a viewing for sure.
