Zen Tricksters reunion 1/8

Brooklyn Bowl....

I bet TR will be therecool

Nice that's gonna rage. Who is playing drums?

I used to know a guy who thought they were the real deal and that it was a damned shame that members were poached away, thus ruining the chance for them to develop and break big. He was also the first one to tell me about the David Nelson Band.

Now, other than Headband I can't remember who else was in the Zen Tricksters.

Call me when the Volunteers get back together. Natch.

Wow. One of those times I wish I was still in the city.

Zen Tricksters are Jeff Mattson, now of DSO, on guitar. Tom Circosta on drums and Klyph Black on bass as well as Rob on keys. They've had a few drummers, Dave Diamond being the most recent, I believe.

They rage

How bout a volunteers reunion.

At the Right Track Inn....lol

The Volunteers had Jeff and Tom on guitars, Jen Markand on vocals, Joey "the Jew" Moskowitz on keys and the rhythm section escapes me.

Still waiting on that Timberwolf reunion

Are Zen tricksters mostly a Dead cover band? I've known about them since the 90's, but never felt any need to see them.. kinda like phish... ducks

^good grief...

I got a couple of their albums, never heard them live.

Hope there is a stream.  Maybe Molo can fill the drum chair.

The original Volunteers I know of had Bob Strano on rhythm guitar.

Pastime's Pub in Amityville, NY for quarter beers night, every Tuesday for many years.

I''m having a deja vu; I had a dream about these days just last night.

Right Track Inn - shows were a few years later and on the weekends as I recall.

Last time I ran into Rob he kept going on and on and on about a new project with him, John Molo, Pete Sears, Barry Sless and a chick singer. Sounded promising.

cool!

I wonder if my buddy Joe Ciarvelli will be on drums. He was the drummer for a while.

Looking forward to it!

Great Band, and a early GOTV staple. heart
