CITIZENS OF BOISE SUBMIT OR PERISH YOU ARE A CONQUERED PEOPLE

I love this recording, listened to this a few months ago. Obviously a well-known classic fall '83 show

https://archive.org/details/gd1983-09-02.fob.beyerm160.vlenihan.103181.s...

so when these are sold out --they are SOLD OUT ?

they don't do a reprieve??

FUCK !

They are avail for over a month every year for anyone who wants one....

Just listened to this Help/Slip/Franklins  a few weeks ago and was blown away all over again.

Another good pick, just waiting for it to show up in the mail.  The yearly subscription is worth every penny.

Here is Dave’s seaside chat for this one.

The Only Show Ever from Idaho!

Is that right?!?

Flew in a night later to denver, did Red Rocks, Santa  Fe and austin. Great tour cant wait for my coppy to come in the mailbox

I saw some of the East Coast tour a month later and the band was in great form!

I’ve listened to most of this West Coast/ Mid West tour quite a bit over the years;  the band is hitting it every night!  What a great run!

I was there. That was a fun show and all around fun tour. One non musical memory I have is the police car parked in the lot had Dead stickers all over the back.

David L. was doing a pretty darn good interview about this show yesterday on XM GD Station.

Spent the time to explain how & why he chose this show. Nice guy.

One of my favorite shows, and it's already sold out...  rats!

Listening today, was in the mail waiting for me.  The newspaper articles are great, blast from the past.  “I never saw anything like this at a Styx concert.”

What’s going on at 7:58 - 8:24 in Eyes, cut to aud source?

Theoretical question:

Is it unethical to make someone a copy of an official release that is no longer and probably won't be for sale to the public?

Not looking to get or give, just wondering.

The Slipnot and early spacy Throwin Stones highlights for me so far

Started on disc 2 may have missed some first set goodies

I think not Surf, if you change your mind let me know.

Kinda bummed, I got this in the mail on Saturday, and Disc 2 has some skipping on it. I have contacted dead.net and started the process, I hope I can get a new one even though it is a limited edition. Other than that, This show is amazing!

Pete, bummer you got a skipping disc 2.  It should have a return label and instructions to make the process easier.  Good luck, hope they can replace it rather than just give you a refund!

Surf, for the last two years I've been a subscriber, before that , I scrambled up to get most of the newly released shows, did miss one and some Kind Zoner mailed me a copy all the way to france. No regrets..

That was a great summer tour!  Love the funky jam after eyes, the old version of throwing stones (spacey lead section vs samson and D.),  great slipknot, and brown eyed woman in the first set is pretty epic too!

But that opinion is 35 years old, I had to buy a copy off the net (since sold out), but loved the show too much to miss out!  Should be getting it in a day or two, be curious to compare my old audience tape(s) / internet board versions to the official release!

Pete I've bad discs a couple of times no problems getting replacements. Got one set had a couple bad discs , got new complete set covers and all(must have been a non-sellout).

Saw that show and then Utah, red Rocks and Santa Fe.  Good times.

Hot show but the quality of the recording isn't what I'd hoped.  I'm betting that this came from a cassette master like the '83 Hartford show.

Is anyone else noticing that segment in Eyes?

Tape flip?

^ can you hear it, is it aud cut?
