Better than The Force Awakens

Movie so good it was.

3D I saw it in.

Love it I did.

I loved it too.  WAY better than Force Awakens.

I do have to say that those Stormtrooper suits are the worst protective suits ever made.  One got taken out by a stick to the stomach.

Still, great movie.

My son and his friends loved it.  I'll probably go see it this week.

rouge one is fantastic

Does this take place after Star Wars Rebels? Are any of the Rebels in this or are they getting their own prequel to this?

>>>> are they getting their own prequel to this?

spoiler...all the heroes in rouge one die

Hahaha nerds

worth the watch it you have seen RO. spoiler for sure.

My 14yo daughter and her friends said it was boring and awful. 2 of the 4 of them fell asleep...I will skip the theater and wait to watch it at home...

Spoiler alert - the most amazing thing about the movie is how they brought a walking, talking Peter Cushing back from the grave.   This is way better than the Tupac's ghost trick and opens a new door on the use of dead celebrities.

And I had a suspicion that they would finally show Darth Vader on the battlefield.  No wonder all those rebel troopers in the opening scene of Episode IV looked like they were shitting their pants waiting for the door to open.

Awesome best one by Disney yet! And looks like we have a Vader movie coming next year too

I loved it as well.  So much in fact that we are going for the second time tonight.

My boys (7+9) were less thrilled.   The older one complained that everyone died and that it didn't stick with some of the original formatting but he's coming around.   Of course he's not hesitating going tonight so it must've not been too bad for him.

Vader is a VR experience....

directed by JJ .. neat

I agree.. Way better than force awakens. This one didnt feel a forced as some of the movies in the past. When the rebel fleet entered orbit near the end,  I got the chills..

It was very good. Oh and Emily.

Fresh new actors that did a fantastic job.  See it in a theatre with good bass response!

My son and I are going to see it tonight,  very excited!  :)

Took the boy last night...we both loved every minute of it...and I agree, way better than The Force Awakens.

"I am one with the force and the force is with me."

I thought it was excellent and way better than last years.

loved loved loved it.

and so did my 6 and 8 year old boys.

glued to their seats the entire time.

I warned them before the movie it may be a bit Darker than other star wars movies and the six year old answered "well, the good guys are all going to have to die in this one because they aren't in 4 5 or 6. "

my 8 year old pointed out that red 5 died, which I missed and didn't see as significant, but he also pointed out that was Lukes call sign in 4, so that spot needed to be vacated.

I caught some of that stuff, probably only the most obvious ones though.  I'm a simple man.

The "wanted in 12 systems" guy and his walrus friend from Mos Eisley are in it. It was great.

Saw it for a second time yesterday.  It was better than the first time.

Spoiler alert - my only gripe is that Jyn's dad was able to send out a holographic image/message on disc drive in a defector emperial pilot's boot with talk about how he rigged the Death Star with a defect, but didn't include any details about it other than the plans were stored in a heavily guarded emperial fortress on another planet.   In Episode IV, it didn't take too much explaining during the pre Death Star attack briefing to explain how to hit the small thermal exaust port (right next to the main port) with a photon torpedo (because it is ray shielded).   Don't know why the dude just didn't explain that in the original message.

My son actually jabbed me and quietly shouted "blue milk!"

I think my favorite catch was the rebel tower.

Still digesting the second round.   found a few things that weren't exactly perfect but that's really nit picking.    My friend who was seeing it for the first time was literally beaming after the movie.

the one nitpicky thing that  bothered me was the x wing taking out the at-at walker with one shot to the side, completely negating the Hoth scene in Empire where Luke discovers they needed to trip it up with the harpoon because the cannons werent effective.

They're harder to kill when frozen!

or when Jyn blows off the landing deck from the blast but her father doesn't move....

minor things...but over all a welcome triumph

I totally loved it. Took my 9 year old and my 5 year old. The little one got a little bit bored, it was a bit over her head, but she still enjoyed herself. My son and I totally loved it.

This movie takes place after Star Wars Rebels and there's actually several Rebels easter eggs, including shots of the ship 'Ghost' in several scenes. :)
