Arlo loves me & he wants me to share this with you on this fine holiday ~
This was a very tough night wrapping things up at home before the show and was late.
I had a front row ticket, in front of Arlo, a man I followed on tour in '83 (with David Bromberg, who I see next week).
He gave me the "dirty-brow" as I was seated in the middle of his first set that I just missed most off..
There were two sets and Sarah was featured in the second.
There was no taping permitted, but taped enough audio to use it in a sound track for a mini movie.
Its not too long and its has too much echo. But it fits so well today..
This has been stealth as an Guthrie family concert, that I am going to re name as it says above.

Yes, in 1983. About 20 shows all with Bromberg. It was a big deal at the time
Then we booked him to play a set at the week long folk festival at Nassau Community College, with David and Doc Watson in 1984

I dosed at Arlo the night before my SATs. I had a really hard time on the reading section. I hadn’t slept, was still drunk, and the paper was breathing. No regerts!
What ever happened to his kid, Abe, I think? He shredded on guitar.

I was very hung over and violently threw up during my PSAT in front of my entire class of 81 and never really recovered..
Abe is the bass player.

That gig was at the Berklee
That gig was at the Berklee School of Music, probably in 1986. I swear, Abe was on guitar, but what the hell do I know? I could be confusing it with any number of later shows.
